Once there was a ferret named Tony. He was a silly little ferret.The ferret was very hungry, and was searching for food.
"I just know I had a piece of cheese somewhere."he muttered to himself as he searched through the dresser.
What he didn't know,was that Sally and Tommy mouse had found the cheese and was saving it for a later day.
Tony ferret drug all the socks out of the dresser. There was no food anywhere.He decided to look under the blue rug on the floor. He searched and searched, but couldn't find his cheese.
"You silly little ferret, what are you looking for?" Asked the mice
"I have lost my cheese." he said sadly. The two mice thought a miniute then asked,
" What did it look like ?"
"Well,let me think...It was shaped like a triangle ...sort of, and had holes in it ...and I think it was yellow."
"We have some cheese, ferret. How would you like to share it with us?"
"Ok! I am famished, starving and weak." he replied.
So the mice said, "Give us your bouncing ball, and we will give you cheese."
So Tony ferret sadly handed it over.His old red bouncy ball he loved so much. The two bad mice shared the cheese and played with the nice bouncing ball. Tony never knew he was eating his own cheese. (To be continued)
Note: Although this is a children's story and the mice stole the cheese, I do not promote stealing. Stealing is wrong! The mice were very very bad to steal Tony ferret"s cheese. Some times critters steal and mabey they don't get caught right away, but just know this .. they will get caught someday ! And boy will they be in big trouble !!
