Four years past in peace. Sibon, like the kings before him, was a just and Godly man. He had never married for as the years went by he fell in love with Lela. He didn't say anything to her for fear she would reject him.
One day he came upon her crying in the west tower. She wept as though her heart was breaking. When she saw him she turned away so he couldn't see.
"What is wrong, Lela? If it is in my power I will give anything to make you happy again," Sibon said.
"I desire only one thing but I fear it is the one thing you will not give," she replied.
"I would give all I have for your happiness!"
"What of your love? Would you give it if I asked?" she cried.
"Oh Lela, I have been a fool. You have had my love for years but I had not the courage to tell you. Can you forgive me?" he pleaded.
"I will forgive you if you ask me to marry you," she said and she smiled at him shyly.
He immediately knelt in front of her, took her hand, and said,"Will you marry me, my love, for I fear another day without you will be the end of me."
"Of course i will," she cried as she threw her arms around his neck and kissed him softly.
They wed a few months later and a year after that Selaus was born. He was a beautiful boy. Moseck was happy to finally have a brother. He could play games with Selaus that he couldn't with his sister, Lydia.
During Moseck's teenage years he noticed a change in Selaus. Moseck would find Selaus staring at him with what seemed to be dislike in his eyes. He asked if he had done something but Selaus wouldn't say. Moseck wondered, with all that had happened in the family, were the feelings would lead them.
