this is a true account of a vision I saw one night several years ago, which I believe was of an assoicate of mine, Les Lindenbaum. The recollection will appear on www.darkwalls.com
What would you say if I told you I believe? Would you cast me aside, label me as a nut-case? Or would you listen to me intently, and share your own tale of seeing someone from the other side?
I was always of the belief that there were things beyond our comprehension. I recall hearing my name, but, upon turning around, no one would be there -- nearby or away from where I was. There were also times when phone conversions bleed into the conversion I had with a friend in a neighboring town, by phone.
None of these, however, compared to one Saturday evening several years ago. I was dog- and house sitting for a couple in Linwood, Atlantic County, New Jersey.
I had just turned in for the evening, after letting Stanley and Cooper in from doing their thing outside. I wasn't totally asleep yet, but not quite awake either when my eyes shot open, wide. There was someone in the room! I couldn't see him, bt I knew immediately that it was a male presense!
Yet, neither one of the dogs were barking. Neither were growing, and "how odd," I thought. Even so, I rose out of bed and, feeling modest, put on a pair of pants over the undies I had on along with a t-shirt.
Searching the entire house, and the backyard, I saw nothing. I heard nothing. That frightened me. How was it that I sensed someone in the house -- a male presense at that -- and, yet, no one was there, except for me and the two dogs? Was I imagining it? I couldn't have. The feeling of being watched while I slept, even though it was only a second, was so strong.
I tried to calm myself, but calling anyone to come over this late hour would have been fruitile. So, I went back to bed, hoping that sleep would come quickly. Sadly, it didn't, but, eventually it had, and I welcomed it!
I said nothing to nobody about what I had seen, or felt, rather. No one would ever believe it. However, what was even more shocking came two days later. Coming into the home with the mail, I sifted through a copy of one of the local weekly newspapers here. There, within its pages, was an article of a man I knew from a neighboring town. I had just spoken about him to an aquaintence that Saturday morning.
As I read the article, I soon realize that what I saw must have been Les. It was the only thing that made sense. He had come to me, just prior to me falling asleep to say "good-bye" prior to moving on to his Heavenly Host.
