As she stepped off the bus she twisted her ankle and it had caused her to hold herself up using the nearest tree. She was remembering a time when Jonathan brought that liquid to his lips...took a hardy swig, smiled at her and in five minutes he was dead. How could he have done that to her... that coward! Suddenly her legs were drained of all power and she fell to the ground, feeling the hot tears stream down her puffy check. There was the restaurant that they had last dined at...it wasn't across the street or anywhere near, but she was there…yes there… now...remembering....ahh! A small dark brown vial emerged from the palm of his clenched fist in which he poured the entire contents into his drink. After he drank this potent drink and slumped onto the table, I reached over to see what was in the bag. It was a young feminine hand with my ruby and diamond marquee ring on it, the one that I had not been able to find for over a year!
