Kiwi walked along the forest floor using his strong claws to rake up the grubs for his evening meal. He tossed the tast grubs into the air and caught them with his long curved beak. Crunching happily on his meal he raised his head to the whooshing sound of Owl, as he silently flew across the night sky. Owl stared intently, searching the valley floor for mice or small rodents. Kiwi sat down on a fallen log and thought about his world. He had talked to many animals in the forest and listened as they expressed their concerns about de-forestation, global warming and polluction of the waterways.Kiwi suddenly decided that he would do something about it and leaping to his feet he began planning. His adventure would take him to many countries; he would seek friendly creatures who would help unfold the mysteries of the universe...
