A Young girl's inner thoughts.

Sitting on a chair facing the mirror,

Admiring my thousands of dollars worth of pearls,

That might be what am worth,

I got sold to a rich man,

My worth?

The Range Rover & Mercedez on my drive way,

My worth?

The Plenty expensive pearls and jewellry i wear,

My worth?

The designer clothes, bags & accesories i change into every few hours,

My worth?

A name to my family,

My worth?

The handful brideprice to my family,

My worth?

Everything the world has to offer,but my personal happiness.

All the riches in the world don't matter to me, I want to be happy.

And my happiness doesn't lie with a man thousands of years older than me,

It doesn't lie in all the riches he has given to me and my family,

My happiness is with the boy who my parents call "good for nothing" because he doesn't come from a family with a name,

My happiness is with no riches but with alot of love,

My happiness is no tears alone at night because i know my famous husband is warming other females beds,

My worth?

I would trade what I am apparently worth for my happiness,

My worth = My Happiness atleast that's what i dream of.
