This is it, again. I’ve had a good night’s sleep. I swung my legs over the side of the bed at 8am and the phone rang as my feet touched the floor. Dad, unsure of my flight times, wanted to catch me before I went. He is worried as always. The only worries I have are catching all the connecting flights and having no problems with the planes. These will not dissipate until I am in a hotel in Palmas (which is still not booked) on Tuesday evening. I have a few last minute things to do this morning before heading to mum’s for lunch. I wonder if I will meet any of the team prior to Palmas. The Indonesian thought he was on the same Palmas flight as me when he e-mailed me. Just six of us on the team. From the e-mails, they already sound like a nice group. I hope I get the room at the hotel in Palmas. I will put the Nepalese lucky travel charm on that Lisa gave me and then have my breakfast. If I feel hungry on the journey, I have the packet of flat-fizz-bombs from Noelle to eat. It’s good to be writing one of these diaries again after over a year away from South America...
