This story was written as a comment in response to a poet friend's poem on the poetry board. After that, I realized what I had written could well be a stand-alone story, so I decided to edit it a little bit and post this in the story section...
Once upon a time, there was a farmer who would wake up every morning to work on his farms. He worked very hard to sow the seeds. By the end of the day, he looked at what he had sown, and he was satisfied to see rows and rows of crops planted almost to perfection by his own hands. He thought all his farms were in perfect condition.
But when the farmer woke up the following morning, he miraculously discovered that there was one more row in each of the fields that he had not worked on yet. So, the farmer immediately went to work, filling those empty rows with the seeds to grow. At the same time, he thanked God for allowing him to find more lands to plant seeds in his farms.
Each night, before he went to bed, the farmer would pray for more miracles. In the morning, he would look around and find that God has granted him another new row to grow new crops! The farmer was happy. He immediately went to work again to build his farms to perfection.
As time passed, the farmer found more rows to seed, and with the money gained from selling his crops, he bought more lands, and his farms grew larger and larger. Every day, the farmer would work his farms to perfection, yet the following morning, he would always discover there was more room to plant new seeds.
Perfection is only in the eyes of the beholders. Too much perfection is a mistake. We must always look for rooms to grow.

Thank you everyone!!! I appreciate all your comments!!!
I had also a plot for a Halloween short story, and last night I also had a dream of horror that I thought of writing into a short story for Halloween. I had the dream in my head this morning, but unfortunately, I did not write it down, and now I can't remember what that dream was.
Anyway, I still have my original plot for the story. I will use that to write.
Sandi: So nice to see your emotive writing again.
I consider myself so very fortunate to live in this beautiful place I live... Of course Bonnie and our two kids (dogs) help.
My eyesight is failing, but not so much that I cannot see, and every day that I am out, I look about me and, though absolutely not a praying person, I do thank God for all the beauty about me, and do pray for another day to see it.
Inspirational and fantasy in one story, and this is full of wisdom as well. God's miracles are everywhere and they're for everyone. When your wish is granted, you have to work hard for what is gifted to you by God. Thank you, Sandie!
I think Eva said it better than I would. More rows to hoe.
While successful farmers often buy other farms, rarely do they call them that. Just incorporate the new land into their existing farm. So I think that new land or new fields is better.
We could also say that a farmer's work is never done. And, the old precision and excellence of the human eye and control of the horse or ox pulling the plow in a straight line has been replaced by automated machines using GPS to plant a straight line beyond human ability.
When I was in the mountains in Guatemala where the corn grows year-round in a single field, generally on a slope, I would see rows of corn ranging from just planted all the way up to mature so that the people that lived so close to their crops would have fresh corn ripening all year long. While here in the United States and Canada, we only grow one corn crop a year and store the crop for use until the following year's crop comes in.
I find your story to espouse wisdom, thankfulness, and a relationship with God. Thank you for sharing it, Sandie. Love, peace, and blessings to you and yours,
