My destiny resides somewhere
out there in the universe
My journey has been the driver
of my learning
The ability to remain real
instead of the urge to
appeal
to others or
steal
someone else's
ideals,
Having ideals
is what leads us to feeling sometimes
surreal
But I have yet,
to discover
how others
truly feel,
My destiny resides somewhere
out there
in the universe
Time is supposed to be spinning
like the turn of a dime
Though we know it is infinite
But in the mundane of the day in and day out
It remains fast but feels short,
My destiny lives somewhere in my mind and my ability to climb
and endless latter
of time
To see what others see
is the equipoise
of whom I want to be,
My destiny lives somewhere in my soul;
To reach beyond the farthest, highest
star,
and discover the world
and who others are
is a gift, worth
wishing for,
but not obtainable in
any store,
My destiny lives somewhere in my ability
to transform;
To achieve complete
tolerance and understanding
is like the landing
of an airplane
at first, you experience anticipation
feel some elation
then, nervousness
then, fear
then, a dream like state
then,
Enlightenment...
My destiny resides somewhere in my
ability to live life
in complete
fulfillment;
To find, the answers
to the why's,
the keys to the locked doors,
the source to the unknown,
and all other things that appear to be
missing,
But in actuality they
have been there
the whole time
just hidden down
deep inside
but as wide
as the ocean
you will find
the elimination of loneliness
just like
the waves crashing on the shore
no matter how much more
we think we feel
we must know that it is short lived,
My destiny lies in my ability to survive
and apply,
my heart and;
not only just my mind,
My destiny lives out there...somewhere with God;
Once again, the story is changing
lanes,
the vision of you has begun
to win me over,
Now,
You started as my friend
Now, my friend you are
Now,
My partner you have become
Now,
My partner you shall remain,
Even though
I was a skeptic
at first
you have proved
to be the
shining star
And now,
My destiny resides, lies and lives
with
the holding of my heart
in the palm of your hands
Now,
For me,
I will always know
where I stand.
