Underneath The Waning Breadth
Darkness never falls
It implants it’s sinister seeds
Never leaving it’s derisions of truth
Toying inside perceptible clues
An illusive stealthy dancer
Caught in palling webs
Aroused by the slightest mood beam
Glistering as cormorant light spheres
Into emotional tawdry depths
An ignominious monarch of secrets
Within inglorious whispery illusions
Prying inside cocoons’ living essence
Where the grotto of shadow’s songstress sings
Weaving lambency in the bleakest hours of ebon
Waltzing with an entourage of gloaming intention
The scintilla of the unknown conscience lives
Surrounding the harrowing effulgence of subterfuge
Taunting with the weights of the twilit world
An emotional playground pooling sorrow’s well
Into the misting presence of disrelishing absurdity
Indefinite perpetrator lurking to subsist within brilliance
Assaulting obscurity’s shadowy veils of darkness
Underneath the waning breadth of pausing moments
Never falling nor leaving it’s contemptuousness of light
