My latest short story entry "Will Fame And Love Return / Friday April 20, 2007 finds Rick Randolph after hospital stays in Denver and Baltimore for the injuries that he sustained in the collision on the opening day of the baseball season in Denver finally arriving home.
Ricks father Gerald Randolph calls Rick to express his concern, then calls Bill Falstaf to express his concern to him and both men feel that Ricks ex wife, singer Alicia Reynolds has some responsibility in what happened.

Finally having arrived home from the living nightmare that Rick Randolph had to endure for over a week, starting with the intentional collision at 2nd base that left him with a separated right shoulder that was strapped up, both cheek bones broken and his face bandaged up, not to mention having been kicked in the head and receiving a severe concussion, it was going to be a long agonizing recuperation process.
Between being in the hospital in Denver for 3 days, then the long plane flight home, then being sent to the hospital after arriving in Baltimore, spending another 3 days there for observation to be cautious because of the effects of the concussion, Rick was finally released and sent home. Rick Randolph was finally able to be more comfortable, especially being in more familiar surroundings.
Rick Randolph’s father Gerald, having called Rick while he was in the hospitals in Denver and Baltimore to check and see how Rick was feeling, Gerald Randolph called again after Rick had been home for a few days. Gerald was very concerned for his son and about his health, but he was even more concerned about what had happened on the baseball diamond in Denver and the resulting concussion, a subject that he was particularly concerned about as being the V.P. of Football Operations for the Washington Continentals and how a serious injury such as that of a concussion can affect an athlete, no matter what sport the individual played and how it could lead to a person decreased mental abilities and faculties. Gerald Randolph expressed his concern that the Baltimore Clippers management and executives did not come to his son’s defense after what he considered was a physical attack on him and the fact that the baseball commissioner Cameron Stanwyck did not seem too concerned about the incident raised even more concerns with him.
Gerald Randolph called Bill Falstaf to get his opinion of what happened and he was also concerned and expressed to Gerald what he thought was going on felt that it all lead back to Rick’s ex wife, singer Alicia Reynilds and her involvement with a sinister group of people, a group of individuals who had infiltrated major league baseball. Both Rick’s father Gerald and Bill Falstaf both felt that Alicia Reynolds jail sentence was lenient compared to the crime that she committed at the American Oasis Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
