Once upon a time there were pirates that roamed the northern and southern coast of California. These particular pirates were much more different than any and all others. I saw them myself, although I have never been to those parts. The pirates were like a team of brothers that vowed to defeat anyone in their path. I’ve seen them but they did not see me. Their ways were dark with black and gray clouds hovering over them. They ran forward and backwards as I sat quietly in my own space observing their every move. However there were times when I shouted like a wild man because of the intensity they caused. As grueling as their presence could be I often screamed while they declared war. This was how they drew crowds of people in their midst. As exciting as their actions were, many hated their guts. Their leader was a grey headed wise man that spoke from his heart. And he was the main reason the pirates were hated. He gave orders to his warriors to carry out all the necessary engagements, so that their excellence could not be denied. There were also many witnesses that reported the hostile situation to others. I watched from the side of where the wars took place. I could not take my eyes off of them until they were finished. Each war started as the last but ended in another victory. Their final stand took place inside of a battle field that circled them and their opponents in the shape of a bowl. People from all over the world came to know them and feast among their ways. And even though these memories took place years ago, you can still see them today as their commitment to excellence still stands and their quest to conquer still exits.
