Ronee' shares some exciting news. She is going on an Alaskan cruise with her mother, father, and brother. They will be going for two weeks.
I am sooooo excited!!
We are going on a trip next week (in fact, in only eight more days!!); and the more I think about it, the more excited I am!
Hi!! This is Ronee' again. I just had to write to tell you about the news in which I am about to share with you now!
We are going on a cruise, meaning maman, daddy, my brother, Johnny, and myself; and you'll NEVER guess in a MILLION years where WE are going! But if you MUST know, I will tell you know before you start chomping at the bit, trying to worm it out of me! LOL We are going to *ALASKA*! We are going on a Disney Cruise to Alaska; and we are going for TWO WEEKS! I have NEVER been on a cruise (and neither have my parents or my brother!), so this is something new for ALL of us to experience! We will be flying from our home here in Nashville (rather, from the AIRPORT; we AREN'T flying from our HOUSE! LOL) to San Francisco, California, which is one of my favorite places, and from there, we will go to the boat area, where we will then board the cruise ship, and we will be sailing on the water towards Anchorage, Alaska!!
We are leaving in just eight more days, on Thursday of next week, April 8th, 2004!
I have always been interested in other countries, other places, and I have wanted to go to Alaska ever since I first saw the Northern Lights last year; and now I will be FINALLY able to see the Lights in ALL their glory! One of THE best places to see the Northern Lights IS in Alaska, and now I will be able to see the Lights there! I will also get to see the Inuit people, and see the Indians up there, and also will see the way they live and their crafts and artwork. That is going to be SOOOO cool! I will also probably see some polar bears, moose, caribou, elk, eagles, grizzly bears, and wolves up there, and I will be able to eat lots of Alaskan seafood, too! (YUMMO!!)
In addition to all that stuff, I will also get to meet mom's friend Jenna Aurora Whitson and her husband-to-be, Michael Doucet! I have heard so much about Jenna from maman it is almost like I already KNOW her, even though we have NOT met yet! I got to talk to Jenna (by way of TTY; she is deaf; she was born that way), and also to Michael (the regular way; he ISN'T deaf!), before we went to bed (and after we got off the phone was when maman broke the news to Johnny and me about Alaska; and ever since, we have been YELLING and screaming our heads off in JOY!!), and now I KNOW they will be THRILLED beyond words when we go to see them!! (I am sure maman called them right back and told them that we were coming to Alaska, and they invited us to stay with them when we are in Anchorage, which is where they live! I also bet that they were happy to know that maman accepted their invitation!)
Ooooh, this is going to be SOOO much FUN!!! I can't WAIT until we go, and I can't WAIT until I see some of those Alaskan Northern Lights! This is going to be sooooooooo AWESOME!!
Well, I gotta' scoot; I just GOTTA' do some SERIOUS phone braggin' and talk to my friends about my upcoming Alaskan cruise on a Disney Cruise Ship!!! 'Bye!
