Hello there! This is Marlayne Jean Taylor. In case you don't remember me, I was the one who wrote last year, bitching about my life.
Let's put it this way: my life flat out SUCKS. I don't even HAVE a life. My life is mostly spent in my house, where I am feeling sorry for myself again, or else I am pounding the pavement, trying to find gainful employment, but still, nobody wants to hire me because of my weight.
I am morbidly obese. I weigh close to 500 pounds now, even though I am only about 5'1", 5'2" tall. I can't walk without gasping for air every few breath, and now the doc has put me on oxygen at night because I am prone to periods of asphyxia, where I completely stop breathing, for a few seconds; and I am afraid that I am going to end up dead or stop breathing altogether, and by the time someone checks on me, it will be too late for me. I still sleep downstairs, in the kitchen, or in my chair, in the livingroom, and I can't do much without overexerting myself. I am also starting to have problems with my legs busting open with sores; and the sores take so damn long to heal! I have had to go to the hospital several times because of my breathing has acted up again, or else my sores get infected, and I am sick and tired of having to ask my mom (or someone else) to bail me out by helping me with the g.d. hospital bills!
I still look for work, but not as much as I used to, because I can't get around as well. I am now using an electric cart built for fat people when I go out because walking is just too strenuous on my heart and lungs, and if I overdo it, I can end up in the hospital with a breathing or heart attack. Nobody wants to give me a second chance because I look like a beached whale (or so they have told me), and I am sick of all the B.S. that I face each and every day! I didn't ask to be fat; it just happened, and now I am suffering, and my life is a bitch!
If things don't improve soon, I just may end up killing myself because this is NO way to live! I'd give ANYTHING to be thin or trim, but I have tried just about every diet on the market, and as a person who has done it, I am here to tell you that diets DON'T work, and they are a waste of time! So I don't even bother! As far as I am concerned, all these diet experts or thin people can just go straight to hell; I am tired of dealing with them!!
