I am sad because I miss you and your two older brothers so much! I last saw you guys at Christmas; now you are back home in Colorado, and pretty soon, Christmas will be here again, and you can come visit us here in Tennessee! Would you like that? I sure would love to see you again! I miss your angelic smiles and your big bear hugs, and I miss your laughter and your singing!
Now you are a big sister to two brand new babies, both boys! What a wonderful thing to have happen to such a special little girl and her family! I am so happy for y'all I could just bust! I am looking forward to getting to know your twin little brothers; I can't wait to see them at Christmas!
Are you behaving yourself, Jamee? Are you helping your mama and daddy around the house, and are you helping with your little brothers? I certainly hope so! You are a very special young lady, and I am so proud of you!
Now I hear you aren't having a fun time of it lately. I hear you have been to the doctor's and that you may have some problems. I am so sorry to hear that! But do you want to know something? I know that you will get through this bad and scary time in your life, and I know that Jesus is watching out over you. You want to know something, Jamee? Jesus is sad that you are going through this with your walking and your muscles; and He would do anything to try to make it easier for you! All you have to do is pray to Him and ask Him to help you! He will be with you always, and no matter what happens, He will never leave you! He loves you too much, Honey Bear, and He will try to help you whenever you get sad or scared! I am scared too, for you, but Honey Bear, I am praying to Jesus, myself, and I am going to ask Him to help you! There is nothing wrong with being scared; but you do know that Jesus will be there, and all you have to do is ask; and He will help you! That is a PROMISE!
I do know that you have to see a special doctor on Friday; and you will probably have some pokes and stuff, and you will probably be scared; but that is okay. I would be scared too. But all you have to do is hold onto your mama's hand or your daddy's, and all you have to do is ask Jesus to help you; and pretty soon, before you know it, all those scary tests and pokes will be overwith, and soon, you can go outside and play again! Wouldn't that be wonderful? Or maybe after you have your tests, your mama and daddy can take you out for ice cream because you were their brave little girl, and I bet that is exactly what they will do when your tests are overwith! And I also bet that the doctor will give you a lollipop or a special medal for Bravery and Courage! Then you can show your friends, and they will be so proud of you for going through this time!
Do you want to know a secret, Jamee? Did you know that your Grandmere' Louie has had to go through pokes and tests? Yes I have, many times, and I was scared too! The first time I had tests I was but a little girl like you (maybe a little older, but I was still a child) because I was playing, and I fell out of a tree; and for a while, I couldn't walk at all. I had to stay in the hospital for a while, and I did not like it because I wanted to be back home with my mommy, my daddy, and my big sisters! I had to learn how to walk again by using arm crutches and I wore metal braces on my legs, but pretty soon, I was walking again, and I could do most of the things I could before I fell out of that tree! This is one of the reasons I use a cane now because my legs hurt, and I have problems with my balance too; but I still get around okay; and you will too!
Jamee, I wish I could be there when you have your tests on Friday, but Honey Bear, I can't because I have to go to a wedding. A friend of Grandmere' 's is getting married, and I am in the wedding. I am one of the matrons of honor. And your PaPaw Bill is in the wedding, and so are your cousins Barbara, Johnny, and Ronee'! Otherwise we would be there in Colorado with you, and we are sad that we can't be there for you! But I DO promise that you WILL be with us here in Tennessee with your mommy, daddy, and your brothers! Would you like to see us at Christmas? Then that way, Santa can come see you in Tennessee, and I bet he will leave a certain little girl some exciting presents! And you can play with all your cousins and get to eat good food and have a lot of fun! I am looking forward to seeing you again, Honey Bear, and I am already counting the days to when we can be together again!
Well, Baby Doll, I have to go; I have to finish packing, so we can go to Louisiana tomorrow! I will talk to your mommy and daddy on Friday, and I want to talk to you too! All I have to say is good luck with the doctor, and do remember this: we ARE praying for you, and Jesus is with you, now, tomorrow, Friday, and forever and ever! He will NEVER leave you..EVER! Love you, Honey Bear! Miss you BUNCHES too!
