I am enjoying this, the peace and quiet and not having to spend time at a crowded fair or worry about whether I am going to lose my belly when I see the rides and not worry about the mixture of smells from the food stands! I also don't have to worry about getting lost or getting sick or having a seizure in front of people...
This is Johnny. I am sitting holed up in my room, in front of the computer (DUH! Why ELSE would I be writing??), while my sister sleeps and complains about her achy breaky joints. She had another flare up of her arthritis, and she is sick and tired of being sick and tired! She has had a time of it lately! I am trying to be quiet, but the truth of the matter is, I am bored (in fact, I am MORE than bored, but because of the Ronster being sick, I can't make a lot of noise and I can't play with my remote control HUMMER; instead I have to do "quiet things"!)!
I have played my video games, but right now I am video gamed out, and there is nothing but sports or pay-for-view programs on tv; and I don't feel like watching cartoons right now...I also don't feel like listening to my music tapes or cd's, and I don't feel like drawing; so I guess all I have to do now is write. I could read, but I have read all my books at least a million times, and I wish there was a book sale somewhere; that way, I could get me some new reading materials!
Mama is in a bad mood: it seems that we kids are driving her crazy, and she has a headache. She is not in a very good way, and she keeps on yelling at us kids, telling us to be quiet and not make noise, as there is a sick kid in the house, and she needs her rest. Yah, that kid is RONEE'; ANYTHING to get her some extra attention from mama and daddy! If you ask me, I bet she PLANNED on getting sick! I wish she'd quit that; she gets enough attention now as it is because of her stupid talents and her singing, and everyone is all "Ronee', Ronee', Ronee'!" while I, poor, neglected Johnny might as well be in jail with nothing to eat but stale water and birdseed! That's how it is sometimes, I feel, and I get so mad I want to STRANGLE my sister!! GRR! And now that she is sick, everyone feels sorry for her, and we have to be quiet so RONEE' can get her rest! YIKES! I HATE this!!
Daddy isn't much better: the weather has him in a blue funk; and he's had a few bad days at work, so his mood isn't good either. He is rather grouchy, too, and I think it is best to stay out of BOTH their way before they eat one of us kids for dinner!
I wish I could go outside, but it is stormy out, and the rain is pouring down; so I am stuck like chuck and have to find a way to amuse myself before I die of boredom!
Well, I am going to go; I don't feel like writing in here anymore. I will write another day. Until then, this is your (boreder than bored) pal, Johnny, signing off!
Well done as always... I remember what it's like to be a kid and be bored, but Nonna use to always tell me bored only shows you don't know how to entertain yourself LOL>
