Johnny writes a reply to his friend's latest email. His friend, a girl, lives in California with her parents, and she has a little understood physical disability. She is also Jewish and wants to be a dancer.

Dear Rebekkah~
Hi! This is your pal, Johnny, writing! It was good to hear from you again; thanks for writing! I am glad you want to be my friend; I want to be your friend, too, even though you ARE a girl. (I still don't care for most girls, but you are okay, and so are my sisters; but most girls are the pits! ICK!)
I watched the SpongeBob SquarePants Movie; it was better than I expected; and a lot of the critics liked it; and I did too. Ronee' the Monster liked it too, but she doesn't like Patrick Star, Spongebob's friend. He has this really annoying voice, and he is soo stupid; he makes ME look like a GENIUS and a HALF! LOL I think my WHEELCHAIR is smarter than HE is! LOL
I am really getting excited; Thanksgiving is only three days away, and on Wednesday, which is the day after tomorrow, the first of our company will be coming. My sisters Tanya, Dwerlina, and Lightning (and HER family) will be coming, and sometime on Thursday morning, our other company will be coming from Texas and Alaska. I can't wait to see my new cousins, and I can't wait to see my sisters or my other cousins again! I also can't wait to see Jenna, Michael, and Sikik again, and I can't wait to see the Williams family from California! This is going to be soooo cool!
We watched "America's Most Talented Kids" last night after church (our grandma taped it for us; she does this for us every week), and they had a three-year-old girl on there who was really cute. She didn't win, which made me mad; but I was glad the one fourteen-year-old girl, Kasey Butler, won; she was really good, and she was way better than some of the acts they had on there. I was kinda' hoping that Mei Mei Lopez (the three-year-old) would have won because she was so young, but it wasn't to be. Oh, well...maybe next time a younger kid will win. Seems that all but one (Alessandra Guercio, who is nine) who have won so far have been teenagers, which isn't fair; the younger kids don't seem to have much of a chance. They also have had some kids on there who stunk like rotting cheese. They had one girl on a few weeks ago (12) who sang rock music, and she was horrible! She was so bad I don't know why she even BOTHERED going on the show! Oh, she was AWFUL!! And last night, they had on a 15-year-old kid who sang a lot like Frank Sinatra (GAG!!); he was okay, but I just don't like that kind of music. What he sang was old people's music; and I am sorry, but I don't like that stuff! GAG!! I was glad he didn't win; Kasey Butler was WAY better than this Frank Sinatra wannabe! They also had a 13-year-old magician, a girl, who was really cool. I bet if my sister Ronee' had made it to the show, she would have sung circles around some of the competition; she is good enough! But she got nervous at the audition, and she didn't make it, darn it! I was sooo mad about that one!
Did you see the show last night, or do you go to church when it's on? We watch it either later on, or we watch it on one of the other nights excepting Wednesday or Thursday (church stuff); that way, we don't miss an episode, thanks to grandma taping it! Good ol' grandma! :) You'd like her; she can't walk that well (she uses crutches or a scooter if she has to go for long trips; she has bad arthritis), but she is still a lot of fun, and she really loves her husband! She also spoils her grandkids, and boy, I really love that! LOL Do you have a grandma? I hope you do; grandmas are really special! I am lucky to have two grandmas; I have my grandma on mommy's side (she lives with us, as does her husband; he's our grandpa!), and also my grandma on daddy's side (she doesn't live with us; she lives in North Carolina; both she and her husband are really old, like in their 80's, and they are both sick, especially grandpa. He's on oxygen because of empisema, or however it's spelled. Anyhow, his lungs are bad; this is why he needs the oxygen).
I am glad you enjoy church and school. You are a lucky girl, and you are lucky to be friends with the Williams family! They are really cool! I would love to meet Louisa Mason, Kendra's friend; they have been friends a very long time, but lately, Louisa has been having a lot of problems with her muscular dystrophy. You say she has Becker's; are you sure she doesn't have Duchenne's, the kind I have? It sounds like she may have it, or maybe she has ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease, which is probably even worse than what I have! That wouldn't be good! I had a friend's father who had that, and he got sick in a hurry; one minute he was playing with his son, and a few months later, he was having problems walking, and now he is using a wheelchair, and he is starting to have problems moving and breathing. It's really scary to see him like this; and I hope (and pray) that this doesn't happen to me!
Have you heard anything about the little Japanese girl that the Williams family are trying to adopt? What's her name, and how old is she? Is she disabled or okay?? I hope they get her soon; that would be one cool Christmas present! I can't wait to see them this week; boy, I am really getting excited!! I can't WAIT for Thanksgiving! Besides all that good turkey (and all the trimmin's!), we will have millions of people for company, and we will all have a great time together! It's gonna' be a BLAST!!
Uh oh. Teacher just caught me messing around; she is giving me the evil eye, and I had better get off before I get into trouble. I will write more later on after I get off from school; until then, this is Johnny saying bye for now!
~Love, your pal in Tennessee, Johnn-o. :)

Johnny sounded very happy. You're a wonderful story writer, Karen!
I like these (as I've said before) for several reasons, some I've said here as well. I like this one, in particular, because so many people get so down-trodden during the holiday season, its nice to read something like this, and know I have much to be grateful for. So thanks...Your Friend In Indiana, George =0).
This book consists of a 150 pages of Christian poetry about the end of time and the Second coming of Jesus Christ not as a servant but as a King, the King of kings. To bring righteousness and peace to the earth and restore the government of God! Peac
