Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux shares her holiday wishes and her wishes for the coming New Year.
I am making out my annual Christmas wish list, as a way of sharing a piece of my heart with y'all. So here goes:
********MY CHRISTMAS WISHES********
1.) First of all, I would like to see peace reign upon the Earth and all this terrible hatred, war, or terrorist attacks stop.
2.) I would love to see the TRUE meaning of Christmas be brought back into the holiday season and see people be more considerate or kind towards others, and for people to reach out to help their fellow man.
3.) I would love to see families be brought together and all the past hurts, hatred, or bitterness be put aside for just one day and focus on what really matters: the importance of family and family love, especially on a day like Christmas!
4.) I would love to see the abuse, suffering, or crime go away (see #1), and for people to feel safe, no matter what they may do or where they may go.
5.) I would love to see prayer or discipline be brought back into the homes or school and not have people telling us Christians (or those who believe) what we can or can't do, and I would love to see Bible study or religion be taught in our public schools; and if you don't want to participate, then it's your perogative: just don't punish those who DO want to participate! I would like to see parents be more responsible for what their kids do, and to take more time in raising them and teaching them right from wrong instead of letting them run amuck or act like wild Indians!
6.) I would love to see more opportunities for people with ALL disabilities (physical, mental, or "hidden") and for people to learn that even though we may not act/look/think/move the same, we are STILL PEOPLE, and all we want is a fair shot at life!
7.) I would love to see all this reality show junk be taken off tv or all this sexy or trashy shows and see more "family programming" on the air or in the movies. There's not much out there for us kids today, and a lot of what IS for kids is often not appropriate.
8.) I would love to see Osama bin Laden caught and punished, and ALL terrorists caught and punished for what they have done in our world. They are EVIL, and they NEED to be stopped!!
9.) I would love to see people of all faiths or colors learn to get along. If we could just see past the differences or colors, there would be no need for wars, violence, or hatred!!
and finally, 10.) I would love to have my friends Rebekkah Rachel and her family or the Williams family (my friends from California), or Jenna and Michael Doucet or Sikik Eegeesiak (my friends from Alaska) live a lot closer to me! I also wish my sissies Lightning, Dwerlina, or Tanya live close by; the only times I ever get to see them is at Christmas, and it's a pain!! I miss them all so much!!
