Johnny decides to write to his friend in California on such a gloomy, rather rainy day in Tennessee. Considering the nasty weather outside, Johnny is in a rather cheery mood because one of his mother's friends, M'Buti Sormiento, already a mother to three kids under seven (two of them twins!), had triplet boys two days ago.
Saturday, the 22nd of January, 2005, 11:56 a.m. (ALMOST noon!), C.S.T.~
Dear Reba~
Hi! This is your pal, Johnny writing! I hope this finds you well; and I hope this finds the weather much better where you live. The weather here is terrible, to say the least: heavy rain (with occasional rumbles of thunder), and just plain *YUCK* outside! Today is a day fit for DUCKS! I am NOT a duck, so this is why I am holed up inside in my room, trying to find something to relieve my bored self! LOL
I am happy to say that mom got back from Sri Lanka safely; but she isn't getting around as well as she was before she left. She has been having a lot of probleme with her back and her siatic nerve acting up; it hurts her and causes her a lot of pain in her legs and in her lower back; and she is now walking on crutches. She may eventually see her doctor sometime next week if the pain doesn't ease up; but I hate to see her hurting. She turns into such a GROUCH it's not funny! It seems every (and any) little thing we do sets her off, and she is soon screaming at us to be quiet! It's like she's gone syco on us, and we don't know how to act, for fear that she'll get mad at us once again!
I am doing pretty good, healthwise: I haven't had a seizure in over two months now, and I hope that continues. I also hope that my disease doesn't flare up again! I have been having pretty good days with my health; but I still have to use my chair, and I still have to be careful not to get sick because if I get sick it really can knock the fire out of me, and I could end up in the hospital; and I am sorry, but I DON'T need that, no siree, Bob!
Ronee' got into trouble again (HEE!); she was bragging on her being chosen for the "America's Most Talented Kids" show, and mommy caught her bragging; and she told her in no specific terms that if she doesn't change her attitude she isn't going on the show! So Ronee' has been walking on eggshells too; and she has not mentioned the show or about her singing since then. Good. I am tired of hearing about it!! I mean, Ronee' IS a great singer and all, but come on...it gets old when I hear her bragging again, and if she doesn't quit, I may have to get a pin and pop her head a good one, so I can shrink her swollen ego! I just wish that things like what happens to Ronee' could happen to ME for once; I would love it if people paid extra attention to ME instead of feeling sorry for me, which is usually the case; and it drives. me. CRAZY!!!!! ARRRGGGGHHH!!!!
School is going okay; at least I am not failing, and I passed all my tests. It still is a struggle for me at times, but thanks to Sylvan, I am doing much better, and I am not so far behind my classmates, nothing like I once was before i started the Sylvan program after school! Sylvan has really helped me (that and "Hooked on Phonics"), and I am a new kid! I now get A's, B's, and a FEW C's on my report cards when I was once getting D's and F's, and I am a lot happier nowadays! I now love school, and for ME to say that...I think I must be getting sick...LOL
I still haven't heard from Sikik Eegeesiak, our one friend in Alaska; hopefully she is doing okay. The last we heard from her, she said her mother died; and she was having to go through her mother's things. I hope she writes soon; I really miss hearing from her...we DID hear from Jenna and Michael, our other Alaska friends, and they are doing great! Maman has answered their letter, and now she is waiting for Jenna and Michael's reply!
That is okay about the dancing; if that is what you like, then that doesn't bother me. I like to play video games, and also read and watch tv. But now they are saying bad things about "SpongeBob SquarePants", and now I don't know if I want to watch him anymore, for fear that it may "corrupt" me somehow...now I will have to find something different to watch, and it's gotten me really depressed because I have always loved "SpongeBob SquarePants"! I saw nothing wrong with it; I think people are doing it just to have attention, and it really bugs me!! Mom has never had a problem with "SpongeBob", and she says what the news is saying is utterly rediculous, and she has always allowed me to watch the show; but now, after hearing the news yesterday, I don't know if I should watch him anymore. It really has me MAD!! Have you heard any of the news about him? If so, what do you think, and do your parents allow you to watch it on TV?
I have always hated the news, ever since 9-11-01, and now, with the terrible things going on in the world, and now all this rediculous stuff about "SpongeBob SquarePants", I just think it is pathetic! I wish the news had never been invented; it's too scary, and it really depresses me!! I'd much rather watch sit coms or shows like "Star Search" or "American Idol"! Or the sports shows! The news BITES, and I HATE the news! It's ALWAYS bad, and it is too scary for a sensitive little kid like me!! Do you ever watch the news? If so, what do you think of it, and does it bother you any because it sure does ME!!
Well, I gotta' eat now; so I can take my lunch pills. I take pills for my breathing, my seizure pill (so I don't have any), and my muscle strength (to keep it up), and I have to take them with food, or else I may blow chunks all over, if you know what I mean; and that would be disGUSTing, as my friend, M'Buti, says! (OH! Speaking of M'Buti, she had her babieS the day before yesterday, on the 20th of January, 2005...yes, BabIES, NOT baby! She had TRIPLETS, all boys!! She was in her bed Thursday morning, when her water busted, and Roberto--that's her husband--ended up calling for an ambulance, to take M'Buti to the hospital, where she then had her babies! So now the Sormiento family has SIX kids, TWO of them TWINS, and THREE of them TRIPLETS! And there's the first one, and there is only one of HIM! They now have one little girl, and FIVE little boys!! So they went to SIX kids from THREE, and now they are a BIG family!! As soon as I find out their names and how much they weighed, I will tell you all about it, so stay tuned! MEGA big happenings in M'Buti and Roberto's life!! WHEEEE!!!)

Nice story 1, 2, 3, on the babies Hope she don't get pregnant again if she's following this suit. Quadruplets! Hope all are well and I have no clue about Bob sponge sqaure pants but agree totally about the news never being invented!
