Friday, April 15, 2005 ("Tax Day"; last day to do taxes!!), 10:32 a.m., C.S.T., D.S.T.~
Dear Rebekkah Rachel~
Hi! How you doing? I am doing a lot better; I still hurt, but nothing like I did when I was flaring! But it sure is a lot better than it was; I can tolerate it today! It also helps that I had my therapy today; I always seem to do a lot better after I have my therapy...(I go to therapy three days a week; I have physical therapy for an hour, and then I have hydrotherapy for the second hour; and that is always my favorite part because I always feel soooo good after I get into the water!!) Just getting up FOR therapy is the hardest part; I have to get up at THREE THIRTY or FOUR a.m. just so I can have my bath, so I can soak for a while, to unstiffen my joints! OW! LOL I then have to get dressed (which is always a production in itself!), eat breakfast, and take my morning inhaler and meds afterwards. I then get my stuff, and we have to be at the hospital BY six-thirty, seven in the morning, where I then have my therapy session.
I really don't mind the therapy itself (unless I am getting over a flare or HAVING a flare!); it's just the getting up early that is the toughest part! I always am so glad when it is Tuesday or Thursday (or the weekend!) because at least I can then sleep in! LOL Sometimes I can be a regular grouch! LOL
But I am NOT grouchy today; and I hope this letter finds you in good health. I also hope your mom and dad are fine. My family is fine, and I am starting to get used to Rani and Arjun. They are both really cute, and Rani is starting to learn more in the way of English, and she is turning into a cute little girl.
I had to laugh earlier: when I was eating breakfast, my maman's dog, "Cajun Gold", a Pomeranian, thought she heard a noise outside, and she got to barking so hard she started wheezing and gasping; she was really going nuts! I thought I would have to give her a puff off my inhaler; it was too funny! But it wasn't funny in that she woke the family up, and daddy was NOT happy! He ended up putting the dog outside because the barking was getting on his nerves! "Cajun Gold" may be little, but she has a very big mouth for her tiny size, and she thinks that she is "killer-dog"! But I WILL say this about her: she sure makes one dandy watchdog; she doesn't miss a trick!
I also had to laugh last night because my Maine Coon cat, "Cajun", was purring really loud, and when maman called from work (she worked from three to 11 last night), she said that she could hear my kitty purring over the phone. She was purring hard: her little body was just a shaking, and she looked so sweet! :) She is one of the best friends I have ever had, and I am so happy she is a part of my life! She is just too sweet, and she just loves everyone she meets!
Have you heard anything about Louisa Mason? How is SHE doing? Is she still in the hospital? Please let me know!
I heard from my brother and sister again in Alaska; they are having a great time, but Johnny sure does miss us! He is having a good time up there in Alaska, with Sikik and her family, but he says there's not much to do in Barrow, it is still cold, and he doesn't like the food up there. He ate seal and walrus meat, and he said it was very oily and greasy. ICK. He also met Sikik's daddy, Aksamirq, or something like that, and he is in the hospital, where he has cancer. He says that Sikik's family is very nice, but he still misses us, and he wishes that he were home. He did see the Northern Lights, though, and he really enjoyed that; wish I were the one to be there instead! LOL I just LOVE those Northern Lights! :)
Well, Rebekkah, I will go for now. I have to get ready to go to lunch; I am sitting in Study Hall, and next is lunch. Besides, my belly is starting to "talk" again, and people are staring at me. LOL I will write you again later on or sometime this weekend. Take care, Rebekkah, and God bless! Love ya!
