Dear Jerilyn~
Hi! Thanks for your letter! I am sorry for not writing sooner, but I have been busy. With my family, that comes as no surprise. Add to that, working full time (lately I have been pulling doubles left and right), and I also have been working on starting yet another new book.
When you last wrote, the Olympics were only a few days old. Now it is time for the Closing Ceremonies, and I always hate to see the Olympics end. When the people carry the Olympic flag out of the stadium and then the Olympic Flame is extinguished, I always cry. It NEVER fails! We love the Olympics, and we especially enjoy the skiing and the women's figure skating. What sport do YOU like in the Olympics?
I have to tell you that Arjun is out of the hospital. He has been doing great! He is still on the oxygen, but he is getting stronger, and he is almost back to his former self before he took sick. He gave us quite a scare, but all that is behind us now, thank goodness! :)
My husband, though, is nursing a sore back (but then again, his back is ALWAYS sore!!). He fell last week during a recent ice storm we had, and he injured his back, severely straining it. He finally buckled under pressure to go to the doctor; doc gave him pain pills (Flexeril), and he is now on medical leave (paid) until his back heals. It may be a week or two before he can return to work.
Other than that, not much else is new here. I just have been busy taking care of my brood and working a million hours a week! LOL Boy, I ought to have a pretty check come Friday! LOL (I love it when I have extra money after the bills are paid; that doesn't really happen as often as I would like! LOL)
I will try to write sooner next time--but don't count on it! LOL Seems I am always getting side-tracked somehow---LOL
Well, little Arjun is crying again; have to see what he wants. I will write again soon! God bless you always!
