Dear Journal~
Just got back from the St. Patrick's Day Parade and Celebration, which was held downtown, and I am tired. I ate myself sick (well, not sick, perhaps, but I AM full! OINNNK!), and I heard lots of great Celtic music. I also performed on stage, and my shoulders and fingers are sore from playing my Cajun accordion! LOL
The weather was really lovely for the festival, pleasantly cool, with bright sunny skies. There were many people who came to the festival, and I saw some strrrrrrrrrrrange looking critters. There were guys with green beards, moustaches, and hair, women with green hair, dogs who were dyed green, and teens with crazy hairstyles. Still, they were all in the holiday spirit, and they wree all having fun.
I was on stage for a half hour to forty five minutes max, and I sang some Cajun and country tunes. I would have done some Irish tunes, but I don't know any besides "Danny Boy" (and I don't know most of the words, just the refrain! LOL), so I just stuck to my usual Cajun and country fare. The people did enjoy what I played, and that made me feel good. I love performing in front of an audience; it makes me feel like I am succeeding in entertaining them, and there isn't a feeling like it anything in the world!
The family all had fun at the parade, and they also enjoyed the music. It was good to see maman smiling; she hasn't really done a lot of it lately because of Johnny's health and also she got a letter from one of her friends that upset her; the letter wasn't very nice. Johnny was also having a good time, and it made him forget of his troubles, which pleased me. He is worried about his health, and he is also worried about his girlfriend Rebeekah Cohen in California, who has been in the hospital with an infection. (There is a possibility of her losing her leg. It's really a bad situation that she is in.)
Well, guys, this is about it for now. I am going to go to bed. I am beyond tired: I am flat worn out! Take care, and C ya later! Love ya!

Erin go bragh! (I think it means "Luck of the Irish" in Gaelic.) :)
