Dear Rebekkah Rachel~
Howdy! Thank you for writing; it is so nice to hear from you again! Glad you are recovering; you have been in my thoughts and prayers since this happened, and I don't know when I have cried as much as I have since all this started to happen to you!
This is your friend, Ronee'. I am all over my latest arthritis flare. You are right: I was miserable, very miserable! I don't know how I put up with it, but I guess the Lord must think I am pretty special because He always is with me, and He gets me through my battles! He is ever present, and He is ever there for me and all my loved ones! I am so glad that He is a part of my life; I can't imagine my life without Him! :)
How is the weather there? It is sunny here, with temps in the fifties. It was very nice today, and I wanted to stay outside all day when I went to recess! I couldn't, of course, as I had my classes. Now I have homework to do (I'll do it tomorrow when I get up, then once it is through, I can play until Sunday, when we go to church). It isn't much, but I do have to read about fifty pages for Spanish and then write down what the story was about--in Spanish, of course. I will have to learn the new Spanish words in the story too, and probably we will have a test then, sometime next week.
I am glad that your Tante is doing well; it sounds like she is. It is hard to believe that the baby is a year old; it seems like only yesterday when she was born! My, but kids do grow up fast, don't they?? It seems lke it was only yesterday when I was small; now I am a teenager, and I will be celebrating my half birthday in just three short months! I hope you have fun at your Tante Louisa's!
Well, I will be singing during the Easter Cantata: I will be singing "The Old Rugged Cross". I always have enjoyed the Easter Cantata; I love what the Easter Season means, and I love spending time in worship/prayer! :) I can't wait until the Easter Cantata; our church is always so full of people, and we always have extra visitors. It is exciting to meet new people!
I got to sing a week ago at the city's annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration. I played my Cajun accordion, and I got to sing some of my favorite country and Cajun tunes. I also sang a little bit of the Irish ballad "Danny Boy", which the people seemed to enjoy. I got to eat a lot of good Irish food, and I enjoyed listening to the Celtic music and watching the Irish stepdancers! :)
Well, Johnny got the tests results back; the news wasn't good, but it wasn't totally all bad either. Johnny's disease is getting worse, but it isn't getting as worse as a lot of people do who have Duchenne's msucular dystrophy. I guess that can be called a small blessing becasse by now Johnny could be totally bedridden, and he would need total medical care. His future is still uncertain, however, and it still scares me.
I will go for now; Johnny wants to write now. Take care, Rebekkah, and may you be able to get back to your normal life soon! I love you, and I miss you!

I am glad that you are home from the hospital and that you are progressing well in your therapies. Having a good attitude always helps, and I think I can learn a lot from you. Thanks for all the prayes, and thanks for your concern/support! :)
Since finding out that I am getting worse, in relation to my MD, I have bene very depressed. Your letters have been a bright spot in my life, and I can't wait when the next one comes! :) Ever since you first wanted to "go steady" with me, I have been on an emotional high because I can't believe that you'd want to be seen or hang around with the likes of me! I mean, with my being in a chair and all, and having a terninal disease with no cure, doesn't that seem to be a bit of a drag??
I really haven't done much other than go for my tests this past week and also go to the Irish Festival a week ago today. We had a lot of fun, and I ate a lot of good Irsh food. I also heard a lot of Irish, Scottish, and Cajun/country music. In addition, I saw the parade, and that was very enjoyable! :) The weather was just perfect for the festival/parade, and there were a lot of people there.
How is the weather there? It is coolish here, in the fifties; we may get some colder weather by the weekend, and then it is supposed to warm up again. We may get some storms eventually. We had some bad ones come through earlier in the week, and we had a lot of rain and wind, but thanfully no damage. Just branches and shingles on the gorund, not much else, thank goodness.
I hope the weather there is good. I have heard from the Weather Channel (and also from Ronee') that y'all have had a lot of snow or rain. I am sure you are sick of the inclimate weather. Then they have the nerve to call California the Sunshine State! (Or is that Florida? I can't remember! LOL)
School is going okay, but it wears me out by day's end. By the time I get home I am so beat I have to lie down for an hour or two until supper. Then if I have an appetite, I will eat. I am glad I have my family to help me, and I am glad for "Ginger", who acts as my helper, which she is. She is such a love, and I love it when she sleeps with me at night! She makes me feel safe, and I like that feeling! :)
In a few weeks we will have Easter Break; we will have a week off from school. I don't know what we will be doing that week, but at church we are going to have our annual Easter Cantata. I will be in the Cantata; I will be an angel. I will also be doing sign language for the speaking parts, so the people at my church who are deaf can follow along with the action on stage and know what is going on. Ronee' is going to sing (as usual); she is going to sing "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Covered By The Blood" (or something like that). She should do a good job; I just hope I do! I hate it when I screw up in front of people; it is so embarrassing!!
Well, I am going to eat supper now (we are having chili over noodles and peas), so I will go for now. Take care, Rebekkah, and have fun at your auntie's house this weekend! Tell her hello, and tell her that we would love for y'all to come here to Tenenssee! I would love to see you again! :)

I always mix up California with Florida too, I believe the Golden State is California, and Florida is the Sunshine State...
