Dear Ms. Sandusky~

You don't know me, but I have read your book, "A Family Made Out Of Rainbows And Miracles", and I was intensely moved by your story. God bless you for giving children with disabilities a chance in life! There should be more caring people like you in our world today!

My name is Ginger Elyse Terzas, and I am a single mother to three, all boys. My boys are named Emmanuel Eagan (7), Deondre' Selvin (5), and Kirk Rico (2 1/2). My boys were adopted from Texas, two are Hispanic, the other, African-American.

I had been married before I adopted the first child, but my husband was abusive. He tried to hurt me more than once, and I decided I didn't need any more of that drama in my life, so I ditched him, and I am starting over. These past seven years have been the best I have had in a very long time.

Anyway, I read your book, as I said in the beginning, and after I read it I just had to write. I was amazed to learn that you had three children of your own. I was sorry to learn that they had all died; how horrible!  I am glad that God brought you chldren who had no chance to your world; you have proven to be an inspiration to many people who are trying to adopt, and you have given so many broken, needy children hope.

I am a housewife and a homeschool insteuctor; so my life is busy at best. I also volunteer once a month at the local homeless shelter, which gives me a lot of satisfaction. I sometimes bring the homeless people at the shelter gently-used clothing or some food, just to show them them that I care. It always gives me a sense of joy, and I end up feeling better about myself and what I am doing!
