Sunday, April 2, 2006, nearly five in the morning, D.S.T. (*yawn*)~
Dear Jenna~
Thank you very much for writing; but I am afraid that this letter won't be long (due to it being Sunday; Sundays aew always hectic around our place; we nearly break our necks trying to get ready for church and trying to get out the door by seven thirty). I hope you understand the reasonings behind this short letter.
I am sorry you don't like President Bush. That is your right; but you are eso right: he has angered a lot of -people; it's no wonder his popularity has slipped so dramatically. But I did vote for him, and I still would rather have a man like Bush in office than someonee else who doesn't believe in God!
I have already contacted my adoption lawyers regarding the status of the citizenships of Arjun, Rani, and Janica. It does take time though; I am still looking forward to seeing my children become citizens; o, what a happy day that will be for our family! :) Don't you worry your pretty little head off!
I haven't heard from Uma and Kirk Tullaq yet; but I have heard from a woman in South Dakota who is the single mother to three little boys, all adopted. I have already written to her, and she has written back. I just sent her a letter yesterday; I am sure that by tomorrow there will be an e-mail from her in my in-box. Maybe tomorrow Kirk and Uma will have written me. I hope so; I love getting letters!
Wondermous. I have the Weather Channel on; they are calling for a threat of severe weather here in Nashville. I hope not; I hate worrying about whether we are going to get hail or even the threat of tornadoes! I don't care for spring storms; they terrify me at times, especially since we already had damage to our house last year! That was NOT fun AT all!
It sounds like you are more than ready for spring! I am sorry it is still cold there in Alaska. I hope it warms up for you (but not too much to melt all the polar ice caps; that would NOT be good)!
Oh, dear...it sounds like poor Michael is sick. I do hope he is feeling much better by the time you get this! Plese tell him hello and to take care of himself! We are all fine here, but we are dealing with Johnny's advancing muscular dystrophy; it is very hard to deal with, but we know that God is in control, and we are relying on Him to get us (and Johnny) thouugh the uncertainty.
Well, I am going to have to make this short; am going to try to rouse the kids (and my hubby) out of bed; instead of the patter of little feet, I hear snoring--and I am afraid it is getting louder! Guess they don't want to get up this morning! Well, prepare for morning "get-out-of-bed" rituals--Louisiana Sandusky style! LOL It ain't gonna' be pretty, and it ain't gonna' be quiet, that is for DARN sure! LOL
Take care of yourself (and Michael), and God bless you both! Write back soon; I love to hear from you!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Nashville, Tenn., Louie May. :D
