A sleepy Ronee', on Easter Break from school, writes in her journal upon waking up.

Dear Journal~
This is Ronee' writing. Now that the severe threat has ended, I can write in here. We're on Easter break from school for a week, I can stay up later if I want--not to mention, sleep in. *grins*
We have been busy practicing for our upcoming Easter Cantata at church, which is on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. To tell you the truth, I'm a little nervous. I have a speaking part (in the Cantata, I'm an angel), and I'll be visible for a good part of the production. I have been learning my lines; I have memorized a good portion of them, but some parts still give me trouble.
I also get to sing at the close of the Cantata; I am singing "The Old Rugged Cross". I'm not as uptight about the song as I am about the spoken parts (the script). I pray all goes well without incident.
We had some heavy-duty thunderboomers come in yesterday; as they migrated eastward, they gained strength, they even had tornadoes. UCK.
We were under tornado watches (or warnings) nearly all day yesterday, thank GOD the worst has passed, and it is clearing from the west and north.
Maman's been worried: her friend Kendra Kent's daughter Kia has been in the hospital, fighting for her life (things are starting to improve for her). She (Kia) was attacked, then raped. She's in the Intensive Care Unit. I will have to pray that shc continues to improve!
Kendra is also concerned about Naomi Cohen and Audrey Callaway. Bad things are going on in their world; what, I don't exactly know, but it's got me worried, big time.
Well, I am going back to sleep (I can do that, you know; I'm on Easter Break! :) ), so on that note, *gooooooooood nigggggggggght!* *grins*
Oh you brought back some good memories with this one.....remembering all the school plays that I had been part off...something I truly enjoyed very much!!
