Dear Journal~
Hey! It's me, Ronee'!
This won't be a long entry; just long enough to hold your interest. *grins*
Daddy is doing better, according to mamma: she says he may be home from the hospital by Wednesday if he continues to do as well as he has been since having his surgery. Today they are going to get him up and give him PT, to get him walking again. Of course, he'll have to wear a back brace for a few weeks while he recovers; this is going to be interesting (not to mention,, painful!) for daddy!
I will be so glad when he gets out of the hospital; I have missed him like CRAZY!! I will be glad to see mamma too; I have only seen her briefly, and that was so she could shower and change clothes!
I am doing well: no probs with my JRA, no probs other than...ALLERGIES. I am still honkin' and sneezin' like a Canada goose! Not fun! Mebbe I'm allergic to my cat?? I hope not; it would break my heart to get rid of "my Cajie" ("Cajun"). I call her all sorts of goofy names: "Cajuners", "Cajie", "The Ragin' Cajun", "Miss Purr'ina", "Puss'ums", "PurrBucket", and "BabyCakes", among others. She isn't spoiled..NOT! (She's about the most spoiled family member here!! LOL) My kitty is my world, and I would do anything for her!! I love her so much!
I don't think it isn't the cat: I think it's more like pollen, grass, dust--ya know, that sorta' thing. Also the pollution in the air. Different things bother me, but I know how to handle my allergies: arm myself with Benadryl and TONS of Kleenex! LOL Or cough my brains out 'til I think they are going to end up on the floor! LOL
Well, this isn't long, but we are getting ready to leave: we are going out to eat at Fire Moutain, then after that, we head on over to Christ Community Assembly of God, for "chu'ch". We go every Sunday if none of the kids are badly sick or in the hospital. (Or if our parents or grandfolks are sick either, for that matter.) Sounds like me, the part about the cat, my cat is Arabella. (Named after one of my favorite streets in New Orleans just off Magazine Street) I love her, so, so much. She sleeps at the foot of my bed each night. Some of the nicknames I call her are Bella, Arabie, Bellaroo, Bellarooseaux & Miss BellaLaGoosey! LOL I swear!
