Dear Friend Naomi and Family~

How I feel for you during this scary period in your life! What exactly  happened to cause Rebekkah to fall into a coma? It doesn't make any sense! Please know you all are in my prayers and know that I've called my church on your behalf!

Johnny is upset; no, we all are. I just called Bill and told him about Rebekkah; he was almost as shocked as I was.

When I saw your precious Rebekkah lying there in the Pediatric ICU, looking so vulnerable, it broke my heart to pieces. According to the news from Drs. Arjuwal, Ram, and Stryker, it doesn't appear all that encouraging. Yet in all of this turmoil, we must learn not to give up hope.

Rebekkah is a very strong young lady: she's faced mountains before; what makes you think she won't triumph over this one upon awakening? All we can do at this point is pray. It's the only way.

If you need anything, please feel free to call (or write or even come over if you're not at the hospital). I will be there for you; you need friends right now. God be with you (and your family) during this hard time. You're all in my thoughts/prayers!
