Dear Journal~

Johnathon here.  Hope this finds you well; I just got home from school, and already I have homework out the wazoo, in Math, History, and English Lit.  BORING!!  I swear those teachers must dream of new ways to torture us kids when they're asleep!!  It's madness!!

School started two days ago, and I'm not so sure as to whether I like some of my teachers or not.  Some of them have a reputation about them, and I'm scared what they might do or say if I cross them the wrong way!

The kids also look down at me (they have no choice; I'm sitting down; I can't help it!), and I know I make them uncomfortable.  Well, I'm sorry; I didn't ask for this curse called MD, and I wish people'd get over it already!!  I'm just like them, only I use a chair, and I have other problems that are beyond my control!

They ought to be thankin' their lucky stars that they aren't like me!  I wouldn't wish muscular dystrophy on anyone!!

Well, my new foster brother has been here with our family for about a week now, and I'm not so sure as to whether I think this was a good idea.  He's already tried to lock us out several times, and he just will not listen, period!  He thinks he can run our family, and he uses his stupid problems as a way to get what he wants.  If you ask me, I think he's a big baby who is sorely in need of a good butt whackin'!!  He's awful!!

I hope mama and daddy send him back soon if he doesn't shape up; he's a brat with a capital B!!

We've already got enough drama in our lives; we don't need any more of it, thankyewverymuch!!

I'm getting more and more disgusted with America's Got Talent every week.  That four year old girl, Kaitlyn Maher, is still in it (why, I have no idea; she's really not that good; yet Ronee' thinks she's da bomb!!), and others like Dorae Saunders, the ZOOperstars, and other odd acts who have no talent whatsoever are still in it as well, while quality acts like "The Dallas Dance Company", "The Southern Belles", and David Militello have been booted out. 

I'm getting tired of it already; I will be soo glad when it's overwith!!  It's almost as bad as when "American Idol" is on; that's another show that turns my stomach!!

I think they need to replace the judges; they have no clue as to what "real talent" is anymore!!  I think they've let Kaitlyn stay only because she's an adorable little four year old, and if they ever voted her off, there'd be a huge riot all the way from here to Dalllas (and back again)!!  She's cute, and she's tiny.  Give me a break!!  That girl canNOT sing!! I'm sorry, but I can't stand her!!!!

I still say they made a grievious mistake when they didn't let my sister in when she went to Las Vegas back in June!  She should have been still in it; she probably would have won the whole thing, too!!  She's that good!!

I wrote to them, AGT, expressing my views, and I still haven't heard from them.  I bet they think I'm some kind of a crank, so they don't even bother with me.  JERKS!!

Tomorrow is Friday, then it's the weekend.  I'm so glad; I can sleep in on Saturday, and if I didn't have church business on Sunday, I'd do it then too!  I live for the weekends:  nothing to do but veg out in front of the computer (or tv)--that is, until mom and dad tell us to get some fresh air because they're sick and tired of us hanging around the house like fat, lazy slugbugs!

Hurricane Gustav is now no more.  We did get some heavy rains and some wind, but nothing more than that.  Now Hurricane Hanna is threatening the Eastern Seaboard, and then there's the big motha, Ike, which is now a Cat-4 hurricane on the Safford-Simpson hurricane scale, and that one may very well poke his ugly nose into the Gulf--after the Gulf got smacked by Gustav just this past Monday; he came ashore in Louisiana, and did some damage, also killed eight people. 

I swear, God must be angry at the Gulf Coast.  Or He must have a death wish for them; He sure is acting like He doesn't like the Gulf Coast states!!

I have been spending lots of time on the computer; I've been going to NOAA, HardcoreWeather.com, or WeatherKidz; the latter two have a chat, where people get together, and "talk weather"; it's a lot of fun! 

With the hurricanes, I have to be informed; I'm not one to be left alone in the dark.  When it comes to severe weather (svr wx in shorthand), there's no messing around; one has to be extremely vigilent and ready if disaster comes calling!

Well, I am going to go now.  Am going to get busy on my homework before supper; daddy and mama are outside, grilling hamburgers and bratwurst on the grill, and I want to get my homework done before it's time to eat.  I will write again another time; until later, this is Johnathon signing outta here!  Take care!
