Dear Journal~

Ronee' Reaux here.  Sittin' here in Study Hall; bored, so I figured I'd write in here during the duration I'm in Study Hall, to pass the time.

I'm doing well; thought last week I was going to go into a flare:  woke up in a lot of pain, plus my chest was hurtin', but in a few hours, I was feeling better.  I was so relieved; I hate it whenever I have a flare!  I was worried I'd end up in the E.R., but I stayed in bed, slept, and when I woke up later, I was feeling more like myself.

Since Billy Ray has left, life's returned to normal.  That was, until maman left to go to help out with hurricane relief efforts; Hurricane (Y)Ike tore up Galveston, Texas, pretty bad.  Maman will be back on Saturday, sometime in the afternoon; daddy's been holdin' down the fort, make sure we stay in line.  Must be doing a good job because the house is still standing, and we haven't killed each other just yet! LOL

I kind of miss Billy Ray, but I don't.  He was a little terror.  I felt sorry for the kid; it's so sad how some kids are treated by their parents!  I wonder what's going to become of him, and I hope whoever has taken him in can calm him down somewhat!

Last night, I watched my show; Kaitlyn sang "I'll Be There" by Michael Jackson; she did a good job.  I just wonder if she's going to last much longer; she's good, but she's not million dollar material.  She is too young to play in Las Vegas, or have her own show.  Let her be a kid, enjoy her childhood, instead of strippin' it all away in the name of fame! 

There were some other equally good acts on there:  Queen Emily, Neal E. Boyd, Eli Mattson, the Wright Kids (another act I really like), and Jessica Price.  It is anyone's game, anyone's guess, who will end up the big winner on AGT.  All were fantastic, but if I wasn't rootin' for Kaitlyn Maher, I'd root for either the Wright Kids or Neal E. Boyd.  They're phenominal!!  They're beyond good!

I sang during the 9/11 memorial tribute; I sang "God Bless America" (a la Celine Dion style; I just love the way that woman sings!!); people seemed to enjoy it.  Johnny signed as I sang, and he did "The Star Spangled Banner", did a bang up job of it, too!  It was very sad to have to relive the horrors of that day; can't believe it's been that long since it happened!

Well, not much is new with me, so I'm going to go.  I am going to get crackin' on my French homework; it's due on Monday.  Take care and God bless; this is Ronee' signin' off! C ya!
