Hey!  Burgundy Rose here; hope y'all don't mind my writing again!

I am estatic:  the family I live with now is thinking of adopting me!  No, they ARE going to adopt me; they just have to finish the proceedings first.  It takes time, but I wish that day where I officially become their daughter comes quickly!

I don't know how much longer I can wait before I bust!

I last wrote around Christmastime, where I listed being adopted as my Christmas wish.  Well, it's going to come true ; I got what I wanted!  (Better late than never!  :) )

My foster family say I'm a good kid.  That's what I've been trying to tell people all these years!!

I will have two little brothers and one big sister in my new family.  In addition, once I'm settled in, they will get me the promised cat.  I want a furry, fluffy one, preferably a Maine Coon.  Or maybe a Birman or Norwegian Forest Cat. 

I can't wait until I get my new kitty, so I can hold her in my arms!

I feel so good right now I feel like cuttin' a gymnastic-style flip right here in my bedroom!

Just did one!  Mom cracked me up; she says, "You up, Burgundy?"  I replied, "Yeah!  Mornin'!"

Might as well stay up:  school in a few hours; have to eat, get ready, so I can look presentable by the time the bus rolls up to pick me up.

Wait a minute.  Today's Saturday!!  There's no school today!  LOL  I can go back to bed if I so choose!  WHEE!! Oh, how I LOVE the weekends!!

Especially on days like today, where I know that soon, very soon, I will at long last have the family I've always been dreaming of!!

Well, I am going to go back to bed now, so I will write in here again.  Sorry this isn't much, but I've really nothing more to tell other than the fact that I'll soon have a family (not to mention, a fat, fluffy, furry pussycat)!!

As that song goes, I feel good!  (And I DO!!)  I'm going to have a FAMILY!!!!  Life can't get any better than this!!
