Johnathon isn't feeling his best; he has the beginnings of the flu.

Sunday, January 25, 2009, Nashville, TN., 6:36 p.m., C.S.T.~

Dear Journal~

Johnathon here.  A sick Johnathon.  I'm afraid I'm not feeling my best:  seem to be trying to catch the flu.  (Nobody in my family has it; when I woke up this morning, I was chilled.  Still am chilled, then I get hot, then chilled again, and my muscles are screaming in agony.)

I pray this doesn't go into pneumonia or something else equally as serious.  That would be the last thing I need!!  If there's one thing I don't want to do, it's go to the hospital again!!

I was last in the hospital earlier this year; I don't need a repeat performance!!

This morning, while my family was at church, I was watching this program on a horror station; it grossed me out big time.  There was this guy in an MRI machine, and he went into a seizure.  It turned out that he had had a metal piece in his head, and the MRI pulled it out through his skull.  It was nasty!   Ewww!!  It makes me think twice about having another stupid MRI!!

If I have to have another MRI scan, I am going to raise holy heck about it!!  They may have to knock me out to have it done.  So let them do it!  I don't care!  As long as I know I'm not in the machine, that's fine with me!!

I only hope I don't have nightmares tonight....

I am doing pretty good other than my foo-foo.  LOL  Rebekkah Cohen and I are an item again; she's claimed me as her boyfriend.  I am so glad; I love that girl with all my heart and soul!  She's caring, compassionate, and exhuberant about life, even though she has medical problems herself.

So do I!  (D'oh!!)

We accept each other for who we are; others need to do the same!

We may be getting a new dog (not for me, but for dad).  I don't know about that; we already have our Great Dane, Marmaduke, mom's Pomeranian, Cajun Gold, and my dog, Ginger, a golden lab.

Don't know if they could handle another dog in the house; dogs are a lot of work!  Daddy's been talking about it; a friend of his has a miniature schnauzer; now he wants one!  LOL

He said they reminded him of miniature vacuum cleaners, hooverin' up food from off the floor.  He thinks they're cute.

I don't know how our two cats Cajun and Ricochet will handle another pooch; they already get harrassed enough by Cajun Gold, mom's five-pound Pomeranian, and our Great Dane, Marmaduke, who weighs 150 pounds!  LOL  If the dogs aren't sniffin' their behinds, they're chasin' em throughout the house, and the poor kitties are scared to death!

If we get a new dog in the house, the old dogs-in-residence aren't going to be too happy; there's going to be a lot of barking and growling going on!

Ginger won't be a problem, but Marmaduke and Cajun Gold will probably go ape squat!  (So will mom and daddy when they hear all the extra barking/growling going on!  The house is already noisy enough with the kids; we don't need barking dogs to add to the mix!!)

I hope that daddy doesn't get another dog; we have more than enough now!  LOL

Well, I am cold again, so I am going to cover up, try to get some sleep.  I feel like ca-ca; I need to rest if I want to get over this stupid flu!  Take care and say a prayer for me; I could really use it!  And pray that daddy doesn't get another dog!!  Bye for now!

~Love, your friend, Johnny.  :(

Any time you introduce a new pet to the family when there's an older pet already there, you have to gently introduce the new pet to the old one. Pets do get jealous too like humans.

Good write, Karen!!! Loved this!!!
