Dear Journal~

Howdy!  This is your friend, Johnathon, writing; hope this finds you well!  As for me, I am in a mean mood.  Don't ask me why, I just am.

It all started with my sister and her stupid audition.  She made it; that I'm proud of, but soon everyone will be talking about her, and I'm just not in the mood to hear it right now.

I also watched the baseball game yesterday, the one with the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees (the Yanks are my team!).  It was a slugfest; it ended up Boston beat the Yanks 16-11.  The Yanks tried to win, but it just didn't happen.  The Boston bats were very busy yesterday!  I was not amused!!

I love baseball:  always have, always will.  I love the sound of the ball hitting against the bat and the sounds of the fans cheering their home team!

I used to play baseball on a league for disabled kids, but my MD got worse, so I had to give it up, plus the dust was bothering my breathing.  That hurt me more than you may ever know.  I loved playing baseball; it was one of the few times where I actually felt normal !!

School is going okay, but I'm more than ready for it to end!!  And I am more than ready for this church work to end, too!  (Have two more classes in Cleansing Stream [plus the retreat!], and am now doing the New Testament Challenge, which isn't as hard as I thought it would be.)

I want to have a happy, carefree summer where I can do what I want, when I want!  Yet we have a few performances lined up (July Fourth, plus the Crawfish Festival in a few weeks), so I will have to practice my music, to make it sure I have it down pat!

I don't mind the performing; it's the practicing I don't like!  Yet if I don't practice, I won't get better at my music or singing!  It's a vicious cycle!!

I wish I were in Texas or Oklahoma right now:  they're expecting bad weather, and I'd give anything to go on another storm chase!  Yet that would be a bust because I have trouble seeing anyway; what good would that do??  I'd probably walk right into the tornado, knowing my luck!  LOL

I went on a chase several years ago (it was arranged through the "Make A Wish Foundation"), and it was sooo cool!  To see those clouds and feel the electricity in the air and hear the thunder poppin' 'round me was exciting; I will never forget it as long as I live!

I'm sorry if I'm such a grump; maybe I need a personality transplant!  I just woke up like this; it's like "People-stay-out-of-my-way-today!"  Maybe I'll feel better when I go to church or have some breakfast; I hope so!  I hate it when I'm grouchy like this; I think I took a grouchy pill before I went to bed last night!  LOLOL

Well, I am going to go; don't need me, Mister Happy, rainin' on your parade!  Say a prayer for me, pray my day gets better; I hate it when I'm hot and bothered like this!  It's the pits!  I think it's the teenage angst again!  Take care and God bless; this is your friend, Johnathon, signin' off!

~Love, your friend, Johnathon.  >:/

I admire the bravery of this boy to go through a tornado! Johnathon is typical of all young people, adventurous and impatient...nice story, Karen.

Poor Johnny! I know how it feels to wake up grouchy some mornings. And when your sister gets all the attention, it doesn't make it any easier. :( An excellent write of GRRR! frustrations released. LOL Well done, Karen.
