Howdy, Journal!

It's just li'l ol me, Kata Danae' Fitzhugh, writing!  Hope this finds y'all good; me, I'm doing great!

I will be singin' at the Grapevine Opry in Grapevine, this weekend!!  I got a call, and it was from the Opry guys; they saw me sing, and they want me to perform there!  I am so excited, I can hardly stand it!!

I will probably be wearing my bestest cowgirl outfit and have my hair all purty-shining and hangin' down my back.  I will also have on lipstick and some makeup so I will look nice.

I told Rachel, my best friend, about it, and she is happy for me.  I am happy for me, too!  So is my family!

In fact, mama said after I sing there, we will go out for pizza, for a celebration dinner!  Yum!!  I can't wait!!

And get this:  that Opry show is tomorrow!!  Mama just told me it's Friday, so I only have one more day to wait!!  Yay!!!!

Kaylie, Kentucky, and Kasey will be singin' with me, so I'm not doin' this all by myself.  Maybe that's a good thing; in case I forget the words to "Coal Miner's Daughter", they can help me with the hard parts. 

I hope Rachel and her family come to the Opry tomorrow, so they can see me perform!  Oh, this is going to be soooo cool!! 

Well, I am at school as I do this, so I'd best go; teacher is giving me looks again.  I should be readin', not writin'!  Oops!  I will write in here again soon; until later, this is Kata Danae' Fishugh saying bye-bye!
