It looks like Amy is on the verge of gaining a son. This is an update on a little boy who had previously been abused; now someone has reached out to give him the love he needs so desperately.

Amy here.  Amy Madison of Nashville, Tennessee.  Thought I'd let you know that the adoption of my foster child, Trinh, is about to become a reality!

As you can imagine, I am beyond excited!!

I first heard about Trinh when the foster care specialist called me; when I first saw his picture, I could not say no.  He was absolutely beautiful!

Trinh also happened to have some serious, deep-seated emotional issues stemmed from abuse from the family who'd adopted him previously.  When found over a year ago by police, the boy was barely alive, unconscious; he was fighting for his life.

It was only by a miracle that he managed to survive.

Trinh has now been with me for the past several months; while he still faces months of ongoing therapy, he is starting to make progress.  He is slowly opening up.

Trinh is now nine, a precious little fellow with long, shaggy black hair, sparkling, dark almond eyes, and a rather pugnacious personality, especially if disciplined:  he doesn't like to be told the word "no".

Trinh finally has a chance to overcome the horrific abuse of the past; I, as his mother-to-be, will see to this.  He is only a child; he deserves a much better life than what he's already experienced.  As the advertisement on television says, "it shouldn't hurt to be a child."

When he is behaving himself, Trinh can be a joy to be around.  He loves to play video (or electronic handheld) games, play on the computer, draw, and is learning to read/write.  He is a lot smarter than most people give him credit for.

Trinh's biggest issues at the current time are emotional:  "night terrors", where he will scream bloody murder in the middle of the night, are a huge problem.  He also has a problem with defiance, as I alluded to earlier, when I mentioned that he doesn't like to be told no.  He will go ahead and do whatever he wants anyway.  *Sighhh*  He can really test my patience at times!

I wouldn't trade it, though, for all the tea or gold in China:  he is my son, my miracle child!  I just love Trinh so much!!

I will write in here again with another update; until then, this is Amy Madison saying so long!  God bless; He sure blessed me by bringing Trinh Michael into my life!

~Sincerely, Amy Madison of Nashville, Tennessee.  :)

*To be continued.*

Wolves can adopt a child from humans, yet the humans will try to kill its cubs. Cruelty to small child is the top of cowardice, but even parents practice it, can't understand why adopted children wants to know their biological monsters.

When found over a year ago by police, the boy was barely alive, unconscious; he was fighting for his life. Yet another victim of abuse.

The ever increasing inhumanity of man should depress us all, and we truly need far more caring souls, like Amy.
