Hello from Pocatello, Idaho!!

It's me, your friend, Sparkle Diamond Anderson!  I am nearly nine; in just a few weeks, on April 14, I will have my ninth birthday!!  Oh, I hope I get what I want:  some new clothes (mine are too small; done some growing!), a car for my Barbie, and a pony that I can ride!  That would be mondo cool!!

I am doing good:  no problems, no hospitals, no surgeries.  Doctors say I am doing fantastic; I pray this continues, especially since a.) Easter and b.) my birthday are nearly here!!

I have spina bifida.  I have to see my doctors every few months to make sure I am doing good (and I am!), sometimes sooner if problems develop (sores or burns on legs from accidentally running too hot of water or bumping into things or from falls; I don't have much feeling in my legs or hips, or in my feet; I have to be very careful!).  I have been very careful, so this is why I haven't been in the hospital in over six months.  I pray that continues!

Our Easter Cantata at our church is coming up quick!  In the Cantata, I play a dying little girl who gets saved before she dies, and she ends up going to Heaven.  I have been working hard on my part, and I know our Cantata will go well; we've been practicing hard!  I will also get to sing a solo; I am singing "He's Alive!", one of my favorite gospel songs of all time!

I accepted Christ when I was like five or six years old, just a little kid!

My family is doing well too:  My brothers Errol and Calvin are driving me crazy, as is my sister, Tasha; then again, that's nothin' new.  :)  I will be so glad when school starts back up again on Monday!!  That way I can get away from my brothers and sister!  LOL

We had snow last night:  several inches.  It may say spring on the calendar, but it sure doesn't feel like it!  Last night the temperatures fell into the twenties; we didn't get out of the forties all day today.  I had to wear my heavy winter coat, gloves, earmuffs, and scarf, as well as my heavy pants and my boots!  I can't wait for warm weather, sunshine, and green on the trees; I am more than ready to go swimming!!

Well, I gotta go:  we're having hotdogs, peas, salad, and cherry cobbler for dessert; it's almost time to eat.  Then we're going to church tonight; they're having Game Night for everyone who wants to come; it's gonna be mondo huge!!  I will write in here again soon; until later, this is Sparkle Anderson saying so long!

P.S.:  I love my new baby cousin, Cedric Ty'reese!  He's soooo cute!!  (He was born on Christmas Day.  He's three months old now and is as cute as a button!)
