My name is Corey Dane Matthias Grigsby.   I am now eighteen years old.  I still live in Conyers, Georgia, with my family (my ma and pa, as well as my two younger sisters and baby brother [who is no longer a baby: he's now in kindergarten]).

I'm the kid whom people addressed as "Toad-Face", on 'count of my terrible skin condition.  I have cystic acne, which is painful and covers your face with gigundo-sized, hideous, pus-filled bumps and makes you look like a freak.  My parents both had this condition, and they were kind enough to pass it on to me (NOT!). 

People don't call me "Toad-Face" nearly as much as they used to, especially since I graduated this past June from high school.  I'm so glad of that!  Still, the memories and the pain remain, and I still cringe whenever I think about how the kids tormented me.

My parents both outgrew their cystic acne by the time they were in their twenties; maybe the same thing will happen to me.  I hope so; I hate looking like the backside of a warty toad!!

I am still into my video games, vegging out, playing my music and going to rock shows (still heavily into the Rolling Stones; they're the BEST!!), and writing my poems/songs.  I also love to draw and watch horror movies.  I'm a typical teen/young adult.

I still have my all-black Pomeranian dog, whom I have named "Chuckles".  Chuckles looks like he's always smiling; he's the cutest little animal, and he is always hanging around me.  I think I've gotten him spoiled ...  LOL

I am now driving:  I have my own set of wheels, a beater car that a friend of my pa gave to me for my sixteenth birthday.  I've been driving now for two years.  It is burnished orange, and it drives like a dream, but actually it's a piece of shit.  Really junky on the inside.  LOL  I love my car!

I'm also looking for gainful employment, but people don't want to hire me because of my pizza face.  I think that's crazy, but people think what I have is contagious, when it's anything but!!  I am still looking, though; I'd like to start saving some money for when I go into college next year.  (I'd like to major in graphic design.)

'Til then, though, I am enjoying hanging out and sleeping in on weekends and tormenting my little sisters and my baby brother!  LOL  (I don't tease "Chuckles", though; I know better! LOL)

Well, I'm gonna go swimming at the community pool; it's still summertime-hot here in Georgia.  I am more than ready for it to start cooling down; I'm sick of this heat already!!  I will write in here again soon; until later, this is Corey, aka "Toad-Face", saying so long! I'm outta here!  'Bye!
