Once you hear my name, I guarantee you won't forget it, it's that unusual.

Name's Capricorn.  Capricorn Matthew Daniels.  My parents were seventies freaks: tv shows, culture, food: everything.  I am fourteen years old.  I live with my family in Buena Park, California, the place where Disneyland ("The Happiest Place on Earth") is located.

I have three sisters:  Rainbow Blossom (11), Aurora Sunshine (8), and Moonglow Aspen (6).  In addition to them, I also have two brothers:  Denver Willow (4) and Branch Wilhem (2).  There's six of us.

I have longish red hair that flops into my face (nothing can keep it back; it's highly annoying!), ice-blue eyes, and freckles on my arms, face, neck, and shoulders.  I am fairly tall for my age, but not to terribly so.

I am in the eighth grade at Buena Park Middle School.  School is okay, I guess, but to tell you the truth, I'd rather be sleeping in bed isntead of getting up at the crack of dawn and walking to school before the sun comes up over the horizon!

Once I am out of school, however, I am in my element, as long as I don't have to watch the mutants or have any excess homework.  When I am out of school, I love to go skateboarding with my friends Huck Huckabee (you can see where he got his name), Korbin Dicoupoulous, Jaime Xaviar Ortega, and Adames Perra, scope out girls at the mall, play baseball (go, Yankees!!), and write stories/poetry. 

I also love to play video games, read, hang out at Disneyland several times a year (our family, we have season passes), and look at the stars through my telescope.

I am a typical kid, even though my name might suggest otherwise.

I don't know why my parents are so crazy about the seventies: there were bad things going on.  The Vietnam War.  The Watergate scandal and the ultimate impeachment of President Richard M. Nixon.  The Kent (Ohio) State murders.  Violent protests and out of control mobs and protesters.  This is just but the tip of the iceberg.

Yet my parents liked the seventies, so we kids got blessed (cursed??) with the crazy-assed names.

I really don't like my first name, so when kids talk to me or meet me for the first time, I tell them to call me Cap or by my middle name, which is Matthew (Matt).
