My name is Lillian Rose Peterson, but most people, they call me "Lightnin' Lil".  I have a knuckleball that can cause the opposing team (batters) to shake in their shoes.  On a good day, my knukleballs can scream at over 70 m.p.h.

Not bad, considering I am 11 years old, nearly 12.  I'll be 12 in May, just a few months from now.

I live with my family in Baltimore, Maryland.  I live with my mom and dad (mom works as a server at Golden Corral; dad, meanwhile, is an X-ray tech at a local hospital) and my four sisters:  Yolanda (15), Tara Lynn (9), and Mariah Dawn (4).  We aren't exactly rich, but we're making it, thanks to dad's job; he makes very good money, a lot more than mom makes.  Mom was working at an office, but then they sent the jobs overseas, and mom didn't want any part of that, so she quit and found the server job. 

She doesn't make nearly as much money, but she does make great tips, especially on holidays like Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

When I am not entertaining my little sister (she has Down syndrome), I play Little League baseball.  I play every spring and summer on a team called "the Rough Riders"; I'm one of their star pitchers.  Last year was horrible; I pray and hope this year we do much better, or else I might walk out on baseball altogether.  That would not be a good thing because I've always loved playing baseball. 

I'm something of a tomboy.

I am in the fifth grade at Overland Elementary.  I do pretty good in my classes, but I do hate math.  Always have, always will.  I always tell people that I am highly allergic to math: I break out in numbers.  LOL

Besides going to school, playing baseball, or entertaining my sister who has special needs, I like to draw, paint, write poems and stories, dance (jazz, modern, hip hop), go to concerts (Van Halen and Jon bon Jovi are my favorites; I also love Kiss, w ho have been around before I was even ALIVE!!), bowl, play hackeysack, skateboard, snow ski, swim, and play football  and soccer.  I am in very good shape, as you can probably figure out by my list.  :)

In addition to the above, I also love to read.  I read mostly  horror books or books about vampires.  It's the in thing now, so I have plenty of reading material to choose from.

Well, mom wants me to help her by taking out the trash before she leaves for work, and I also have to cook dinner.  I will write in here again soon; until later, this is Lillian Peterson signing off!  Talk to you again soon!
