Howdy!  It's Rattler speakin'.  Hope this finds y'all doing some good.  Me, I finally got me a job, but don't know how long it will last.  Been workin' the past few months at an auto dealership doin' mechanical stuff, but the boss there treat me like a g.d. slave.  He is an asshole with a capital A!!

It is nice to have some money comin' in ... with these darn high gas prices, I certainly do need it to pay my bills!  I put in nearly 50 bucks (or more) in my tank just to keep it filled, and when I get done payin' my bills or gettin' groceries, ain't much left to live on.  I normally just stay home and entertain my snakes.  (I have two boa constrictors and one Burnese python.  Now y'all can probably figure out where I got my nickname.)

I had a girl, but she done dumped me 'cause she found out that I was a petty criminal.  Have a police record 'bout as long as my arm, been tryin' my durndest to stay outta trouble.  'Course it don't always work, but at least I do make the effort.  And I do report to my P.O. (that's Parole Officer to y'all good people) every week, like I'm supposed to.

The weather here in Houston has been warm and humid, but that's 'bout the norm here in the Deep South.  Y'all come to expect that sorta thing this time of  year, just not so soon.  The hot stuff wasn't supposed to come until a few weeks from now, but I guess summer decided to jump the gun a little, ya know??

I am lookin' forward to this weekend.  I am going to a Cajun music festival here in Houston with some friends.  Plan to get drunk and have a good ol' time.  I'm not the one drivin', but I'm the one buyin' the beer and crawfish.  We gonna have one fine bon temp! AAIIEEE!!

Weather supposed to be good, so we don't have to worry 'bout no rain ruinin' the Cajun festival.  This is the first chance I've gotten since gettin' outta jail earlier this year and since I started working.  I can't wait!!  I need some excitement in my life besides gettin' into trouble yet again!

Well, I am gonna fry up some burgers on the grill and invite some friends over.  I'm off tomorrow and I plan on doing nothing but relaxing!  Just keep those prayers coming; I don't need to ruin my life yet again like I'd done! I am tryin' like hell to put the bad stuff behind me; there's gotta be some better way than spendin' y'all's time gettin' into trouble or bein' in the clink!  I am tired of having to prove myself to people; I wanna prove to them that I can change my ways!!
