My daughter, Chloe Danielle, is a living little blessing from God.  

God allowed me to have her to make my life better, more complete.

I couldn't be happier (or more grateful).

Chloe is five years old now, which is miraculous, considering that when she was born, she wasn't expected to survive.

I had preeclampsia and other complications; adding to the fun was a bad fall I had taken when I was five months pregnant with my daughter.  My water broke as a result; they could not stop things, so Chloe Danielle was born much too early.  

She weighed just 11 ounces and was less than 17" long, just a little peanut of a child.

Doctors did not give her (or me) much in the way of hope.  They said that she would die.  She had more than a 70% chance od not surviving; if Chloe did, she would have severe disabilities.

That was five years ago.  In May, on the 17th, she celebrated her fifth birthday.

Chloe may not be able to walk (she has CP and is in a wheelchair) and is rather tiny for her age, but she can talk your ear off if you allow her to, and she is so full of "spit and vinegar" (as my husband says!).  

There is absolutely nothing that this child won't try to do and she is very popular both at pre-K and at our church (Christ Community Assembly of God Church here in Nashville, Tennessee, where we live).

Despite her obvious handicaps, Chloe is very smart: she has taught herself to read and write and is currently learning simple programs on the computer.  

She will be attending Bible camp next week and is looking forward to it.  She loves Jesus with all her heart and has already accepted Him as her Lord and Savior.  She knows about Jesus and how much He loves her.

Besides telling her friends about Jesus, Chloe loves to read, write, play on her computer (see above), dance (she's on a dance team where kids of all abillities are welcome), sing (she sings in the King's Kids Choir at church every Sunday), and play with her toys (and friends).

When she grows up, Chloe wants to be a mommy or a preacher just like Preacher Tim at church and tell others about Jesus.  She also wants to be a singer.  She loves music of all kinds.
