A man and his family survive a horrific car accident. This is their amazing story.
It was God. There is no other way I can fully explain it.
It all started two weeks ago, on Thanksgiving Day, when my wife, Annie, and our two children were involved in a multi-car pileup on Interstate 65, while we were returning from her parents' house after celebrating Thanksgiving with her family.
It had turned foggy in the early afternoon; by the time we got on the road to head back home in the early evening, the fog was so bad it was like pea soup. We couldn't hardly see the cars or trucks around. The thick fog made traveling hazardous at best.
Just when we were to take our exit, we heard the sickening crunch of metal grinding against metal and felt our car jolt violently. I thought for sure we were done for, especially when I smelled the sudden odor of gasoline ... and saw big orange and red flames leaping from outside the car's windows. That was the last thing I remember before mercifully passing out (or had I just died?).
Sounds like a miracle, indeed. One thing tho, Karen. Since it sounds like the husband was also there, shouldn't this line read, "It all started two weeks ago, on Thanksgiving Day, when my wife, Annie, our two children and I were involved in a multi-car pileup on Interstate 65, while we were returning from her parents' house after celebrating Thanksgiving with her family." No big deal, just thpought I'd point that out. God bless and have a great weekend.
