My name is Meg. I am a writer.
One of my biggest dreams is to have a book in my name. I have been trying to get a book started, but it's harder than it looks sometimes.
One of my biggest writing heroes is none other than Terri Blackstock. I think she is one of the best writers around. Like her, I write fiction, mainly mystery or who-done-it type books, as well as some crime.
I have been writing ever since I was a little child; as I get older, the love of writing has only gotten stronger. I regularly post at www.authorsden.com, which is a site for aspiring (as well as established) writers. I have been a member of Authorsden since last year; I've written maybe ten stories.
A few people have reviewed them; so far the reviews have been positive. I am praying this continues. There is nothing like being snubbed or told your writing is not up to par.
That is one of my biggest fears: to be told my writing stinks. I'm sorry; I can't help what I write. God gave me a gift and I am not planning on wasting it anytime soon!
Well, I'm going to see if I can work on the book I'm planning on writing, to see if I can get anywhere with it. Pray that inspiration comes and pray that God gives me the right words to write. I would greatly appreciate any (and all) prayers!
