Howdy from the Snow Bowl!
This is Galveston Hurst writing. It is 11:24 as I write this; I am sitting at my desk in the comfort of our nice, toasty-warm home.
No school today. Snow day. We have had over 3' of snow and it's still coming down, hard and fast. Wonder when it will stop and if it ever will. I don't want to be buried alive!!
I am more than ready for spring! Know it's still winter, but come on!! Really?? The weather's getting a little rediculous, if you ask me!
I'd love to be in Galveston, Texas, about now: they're boasting warm temps in the 70s and 80's and sunshine. That sounds nice!! I am still trying to persuade Mom and Daddy to take us to Galveston this summer!!
I had a good Christmas: got an MP3 player as well as a laptop (my two big gufts), clothes, money, Blue Ray movies (Up, the newest Batman movie, and Santa Paws, which is kinda cute, but I like the other two better!), paper, pens, some books (Batman and Superman comics), and some new cowboy boots.
Also found out that Mom is pregnant. I'm going to be a big brother! Right now she is 3 months along; she's starting to show. So we will have to get used to the sound of baby cries, diapers, and all the care that a new baby needs. I'm happy about it, but as for Murdoch, who's six, he's not buying it. He doesn't like the thought that his position as the youngest kid is going to change.
I doubt we'll have school tmoorrow 'cause the way it's snowing outside. But that won't be determined until later this aternoon or this evening sometime.
Looks like we may have a long weekend, but at the same token, we have already missed 4 days; if we get any more after the next time we'll have to make it up in the spring. And I don't feel like sitting in school any longer than necessary!
Well, I hate to run, but Bolly needs me; I will go for now. I will write in here again soon; until then, this is Galveston Hurst saying so long! God bless!
