Medusa Jones updates us on her life. Things are going quite well for her, as we shall soon see.

Hey, y'all! How is everything going? This is Medusa Jones writing, y'all; hope all is well with y'all!
As for me, I'm currently at church, in the green room, which is situated behind the sanctuary (backstage, in other words). I'm waiting for the second service to start, so this won't be long. I'll try to do this as fast as I possibly can.
Things are going great!! Hard to believe that a year and a half ago I was homeless and destitute; now look: I have a place to call my own, a job I absolutely adore, a home church, wonderful friends who care about me, and even my own car, as well as a boyfriend (Marcus Powers; I met him at church a little over a year ago)! God has really been blessin' me big; someimes I wonder if it is all a dream; I'm almost too afraid to pinch myself and wake up to see it it all is a dream ....
The winter has been typical for this time of year: unpredictable at best. One day it's cold, the next, warm (almost hot); the other day, as a matter of fact, we had a high of 85 degrees. In JANUARY, of all things!! We did have snow a few times, but come ON, weather!! Make up y'all's darn mind!! It's no wonder why my allergies have been kickin' me in the tail so hard! It just can't seem to make up its ever lovin' MIND!!
And on Tuesday of this week, we could have springlike storms with hail, high winds, and yes, maybe a small chance of tornadoes!! Crazy, crazy Texas weather!!
Physically, I'm doing good: no real complaints. I did have a cold around Christmas, but I'm over that now, thank goodness. I was pretty sick, though: thought I was gonna get pneumonia and end up in the hospital ...
Work is going great: I have been promoted to assistant manager at the bookstore I am employed at, which means more hours and more pay. Not complaining, though: I'm grateful to have a job and a place to call home; I've already been homeless once; I DON'T want to go back there again anytime soon!!
Whoops!! It's about time for the choir to file onto the platform (stage); second service is fixin' to start, so I'll have to shut this down and go. Until later, this is Medusa Jones saying so long; may God bless y'all big! See y'all again next time!
