A girl worries about her toddler cousin, who may need a second liver transplant. This is their story.

My cousin, Rion Sh'quan, is only two years of age, but he has already been through more than most people go through in their entire lifetime.

For starters, Rion was born with a malfunctioning liver that resulted in a liver transplant when he was 11 months old, just over a year ago.  For a while, Rion was doing awesome, but now his body is rejecting the liver and he may have to have another liver transplant fairly soon, or else he could die.

It's that serious.

The thought of my little cousin being so sick is more than I can bear.  He is currently in the hospital because he has pneumonia and is trying to go into multiple organ failure.  If he doesn't get a new liver within a month it could be too late.  In fact, it may already be too late ...

My family has been keeping in constant contact with my aunt, who is Rion's mother (and my auntie.  (She is my Mama's younger sister.)  Poor Aunt Elsbeth has been going to and from the hospital to be with Rion and from the latest news, things don't sound all that encouraging.  I'm am scared that little Rion will die.

I love my little cousin with all my heart and soul.  He's funny, super-adorable, and spoiled rotten.

Now he's sick again, and I don't know what I can do to help him feel better or how to help his mom (my aunt) out.  He doesn't deserve to go through so much; he needs a major miracle ... and fast!!

~To be continued!~
