     A man who once was a Satanist has discovered the saving grace of Jesus Christ. This is his story.

 I decided that when I was in college that I didn't need God in my life.

God put too many restrictions upon me and what I wanted to do.  I wanted nothing more than to hang out with my friends and do whatever I wanted and whenever I wanted.

I started hanging out with friends who were into the occult.  Some of them were practicing witches and warlocks; some also worshiped Satan as their God.  I decided they were cool, so I spent as much time with my "friends" as I possibly could.

God was the last thing on my mind by the time several months rolled around.  Of course, I didn't tell my parents about my activities, but I knew it wouldn't be long before they became suspicious or found out about it, so I fabricated a story and tried to make it as believable as possible.

It only ended up getting me into trouble with my parents.  Major trouble.  

The culprit?  A diagram of a sacrificial offering.  We were going to sacrifice a human child, perhaps even a baby or maybe a small animal such as a cat or a young puppy.  My friend had given it to me and I unknowingly had left it in my pants pocket while my mom was going through my clothes to do some laundry.

I couldn't see my "friends" again.  Mom and Dad were both furious with me.  I didn't care.  I wanted nothing more than to escape their parental clutches and hang out with my friends.  They understood my feelings and thoughts better than my parents ever could.  So I made plans to run away in the middle of the night.

So that was what I did.  Little did I know what was going to happen while I was on my way to see my friends ....
