The kitten we had been caring for for the past five months is still here, allive.  The fact that it has survived such horrific abuse is amazing to all of us.  He may actually have a chance at life and ending up as someone's pet if all goes well.

It has lost one of its legs and is blind in one eye, but other than that, it has seemed to have recovered.  It is a lively, beautiful little animal: snow white with one intense blue eye.   The one eye had to be removed because we coulnd't save it.  So it is blind in one eye and it looks as if the kitten has a permanent wink.

We have fattened him up and "Chance" (as we have named him) has a "chance" of finding a forever family and a home just in time for Christmas.  We are praying that someone will come forward and claim the kitten as their own.  Heaven knows we have worked hard enough in order to save its life!

We don't know what the future holds for Chance, but we are hoping for a miracle (and a family) for him!  We will update you as soon as we find out anything or if anyone comes to adopt him (whichever comes first).
