Dear Journal~

Ronee' here.  Hope this finds y'all well; as for me, I'm sick.  Woke up with my chest all congested and my nose all stopped up, not to mention, a pounding headache.  I feel AWFUL!!

What doesn't make sense is this: I got my flu shot.  I get one every year.  So WHY do I have the flu??  I'm also cold and hot; one minute I'm cold; the next, I'm burning up! UGH!  Guess that means Michael gets to play Daddy-Duty while I nurse my body and stay clear of them; the last thing I need are two sick babies AND a sick husband.  

Guess that means I am not going to work tomorrow.  And that is just as well because we're supposed to get buried under at least a foot of snow.  So maybe this is a blessing in disquise.

Needless to say, I did NOT go to church today.  Michael and the boys went.  I did make it to temple services yesterday, but I am wondering if someone near me was hacking and sneezing while there ... could be 'cause now I've got it.  UGH!!! UGH!! UGH!!

I just hope I don't plug up my oxygen .... LOL Excuse me while I sneeze .....

I think I just blew my brains out.  LOL  OW!!

Trying to see the humor here, but it's not easy .... I feel TERRIBLE!!!!

Geez .. I think my blood just froze: it's supposed to get up to -18 degrees (for the HIGH) in Minneapolis, Minnesota!!  Yikes!!!  And I think it's cold here in Nashville ... NOT on yer life!!  (Yes, I'm watching the world news; I watch it every day.  I'm a newshound. :) )  Thank God for nice, warm fireplaces or a nice warm bed!!  Yeah, I'll be burrowing underneath the extra covers tonight!!

Well, my head is killing me, so I'm gonna try to get some rest.  I need to; I'm SICK.  I will write in here in a few days; hopefully by then I'll start to feeling a LITTLE better ... this being sick SUCKS!!
