Dear Journal~

Ronee' writing.  Hope this finds y'all well.  Just put Dean and Dillon down for their naps; am off today 'cause I am getting over a sinus infection, but happily I am feeling much, much better than I was.  Hope this finds y'all well and happy.

Life is getting to be crazy.  I've been helping my husband, Michael, pack; he is leaving for Alaska in two weeks; he is going to try to find work (and a place) up there.  We are moving to Alaska in October, but Michael will be there before I will.  That way, he can get some money saved up and hopefully will find employment as well as a place for us.  We will be living in Fairbanks, or within close proximity of the city.  I've been shedding lots of tears; I will miss him when he goes.  He turned in his two week notice last week; he is no longer employed.

I still have some time before I turn in my own two week notice at my job.  I can save money as well and in the meantime try to take care of two twin boys on my own.  I know I will have Maman or Daddy (or Granmere, or my brothers and sisters that remain home) to help me in case I get into a jam.  It will be different not having Michael around; he's been a phenominal help and an awesome daddy and husband.

Next month, I will be appearing at the Grand Ole Opry.  I am slated to be on the 4th of April, during the 7:30 show.  Jimmy C. Newman and Cajun Country are headlining that set.  It's been a while since I last performed there; I am excited, but at the same time, I feel a little nervous.  I always get nervous whenever I play the Opry because it's broadcast live, and I'm always afraid of screwing up.  LOL  

And in May, I will be going to New York City, New York, to audition for America's Got Talent.  I did have the first audition back in January, and they called, as they want me to audition again, for a chance to be on the televised portion of the show.  So big things are happening to my career, musically speaking.  Just say some prayers that I do well on both accounts; any and all prayers are greatly appreciated!!

Johnny is graduating college in May, right before my audition; Maman and Daddy are going to throw a huge surprise party for him.  All us kids know about it, but Johnny doesn't.  He won't know anything about it until we spring the surprise on him.  It's gonna be great!!  I can hardly wait to see the look on his face when we pull the surprise on him!!  :)  I can't believe that I have been out of college now for nearly a year now!!  WOW!!  

Time sure flies when one is having fun!! :)

Well, I hate to run, but Michael needs me; he's calling me, so I'd best see what he needs.  I will write in here again soon; again, keep those prayers coming and pray that my Opry appearance and my audition for AGT in NYC goes well!  Thanks in advance!  God bless you!
